Meanwhile, the salary of average workers remains flat with no safety whatsoever in place to help the masses. I say it again Nigerians deserved the government they voted for.

Honestly President Tinubu had no choice but to devalue the naira, he actually hasn't implemented the REAL solution which is a COMPLETE and unfettered FLOAT. So he will be forced to devalue again because it's an unsustainable subsidy just like fuel subsidy.

In the long run it's a good policy but being that the APC is fundamentally socialist, he's already announced other subsidy programs that will cancel out the good he has done so far.

It still cannot be worse/out of control than Republic of Ireland since Nigeria have the lowest VAT rate on the planet, no income tax, and water is free here unlike in the Emerald Isle. Nigeria is also a federation so price varies in all it constituent states. In Ireland the price for one slice bread you can use to buy 2 or 3 here some people dont even have money to pay monthly house rent talk less of put food on the table. Nigeria also have the lowest cigarette price on the planet and you can even get single sticks here unlike over there (Thanks to the Hausas for making it a big thing here- my fellow aboki countryman will sell it even dirt cheap. Large US corporations yes but now they are all leaving even Banks are leaving (Ulster, KBC) so just two big banks remaining AIB and Bank of Ireland compared to over 100 banks and their branches, subsidiaries, and networks in Nigeria (you can even say about 10 big ones here out of that number). Their stock market is literally non existing there since they sold out to pan-EU's Euronext (and like 50 companies listed) compared to Nigeria which have the largest stock market in west Africa and second largest on the African continent (with close 500 companies listed). Just before I came back to the Federation in January, Argos owned by Sainsbury (one of the largest supermarket chains in the UK and world) shut down all the stores and existed the Irish market, same with GameStop a large US video game retail corporation. Everything in that country got so bad even their Police (An Garda Siochana) are finding it difficult to retain members (officers).

To be fair though, The Irish (White Irish) are so nice and open-minded compared to any other White Europeans.

Their weather is so bad rains like 365/366 days 😂 and overcrowded hospitals (to be fair 86 hospitals compared to Nigeria 40,000 hospitals)
