Why was president Yaradua so different? by OredoPikin: 9:22pm On Jul 19, 2023 |
It is on record that late former President Yaradua happens to be the only president that brought down the price of fuel from what he met on ground. He actually met it at N95 and reduced it to N87 saying that the actual price that is unsubsidized was N87 and not N95 that he met (honesty at it peak) He even came out to say the election that brought him in was not free and fair ( the one in power now will never say that despite the obvious) He was the one that also granted amnesty to the Niger delta militants thereby uniting the whole country. Everyone was happy, Igbo, Yoruba, hausas, Niger delta, etc we all saw ourselves as one He refused to interfere with the judiciary and allowed them to do their works thereby enabling those that were rigged out to get their mandate back, Edo, Osun Ondo, Ekiti etc the people that were the biggest beneficiary of the justice system put in place by yaradua govt are the ones threatening the same judiciary today And many more What do you think made yaradua so different from Presidents before and after him? |

Good things don't last.. I remember it was Yaradua who brought back peace to the Niger Delta without shooting a bullet. The man was really in love with Nigerians. 1 Like |

Yar'Adua was what Tinubu can never be in a 1000 years. Yar'Adua was a leader, Tinubu is a tyrant. Tyrants are vengeful, leaders are accomodating. 1 Like |

If Yar'Adua was alive to serve 8yrs complete, I'm very sure we would have still complained terribly. How much was petrol price when Goodluck left office? But yet when he wanted a re-run, what did we tag him? I trust my country people No be 9ja again? 1 Like |
