Same is applicable to you here because the

Olodo you see in this post is pronounced Olodo (Rẹ mi mi) that is a wooden Mortar and not

Olódò (re mi re) which is colloquially used to describe someone who is goofy or silly or illiterate In yoruba Language like you.
Gbam! After your explanation you come finally break the table on someone son head

Igbo as a tribe is pronounced as IBO. The "G" is silenced.

Igbo as a substance is actually pronounced with the "G".

Not olodo like dullard but olodo like "someone with odo (mortar)". You know how Yoruba language can be, one spelling, 300 interpretations.

Federal, State and Local government in Nigeria must budget money for environmental issue.

Looting of public funds must stop.

Environmental problems have come to stay due to the changing global weather conditions coupled with the poor maintenance culture in Nigeria.

Can't the government just use that period of dry season to correct all these anomalies?

Can't the citizens just stop building on waterways and dumping refuse on drainages?

Igbo. Means Bush in Yoruba language
It could also mean cannabis
While
Down east it's the name of a tribe. Following you analogy that tribe must be high...which wouldn't be surprising giving that they always behave like a people under the influence of hard drugs
The right spelling is 'Egbo' and not 'igbo? Make e dey that your skull now.

For clarity of those who are misinterpreting the name of the place, it is not olodo (dumb thing) but olodo (one that has mortar), odo in Yoruba could mean mortar. Yoruba has so many pronunciations with different meanings.

Easier said than done.

More people are leaving the rural areas for the Urban centres and Cities.

That means more houses, more waste etc

These naturally alters the natural flow of Water and it natural pathways.

More people means more obstructions.

Then again, it is a global phenomenon. Floods and floodings happens every where, that is not to say Government should fold it arms and do nothing.

They can do a lot with proper Laws and building infrastructures in the Rural Areas at least to stem the tides of Rural-Urban Migration.

Also, with this year heavy rains, I think Settlements along the River Benue, River Ogun and other Tributary Rivers should brace up for the Annual Water Release from that Cameroon Dam in Late August/early September.

Only a non Igbo or someone born and bred in Yoruba land will right what you just wrote above.
The 'G' in "IGBO" as a tribe is not silent oga.
IGBO is not the only word that has different meaning and pronunciation but same spelling.

The person you are correcting knows more than you but wrote what he wrote because of the Tribalism in his blood.

Glimpsetv:
Today, due to a heavy downpour in Ibadan, Oyo State, the bridge connecting Olodo Garage and Olodo Bank on Iwo Road experienced flooding. Buses and houses were submerged in the deluge, compelling certain residents to evacuate their homes. Consequently, some individuals found themselves completely stranded, unable to reach their houses.

As of the time of filling this report, some residents and individuals who ventured out earlier today remain stranded and unable to access their houses due to the ongoing flooding situation.

Residents are urgently calling on the Oyo State government, particularly Governor Seye Makinde, to intervene promptly and provide an immediate solution to the current flooding predicament.

Meanwhile, it's worth noting that before the flood incident, a section of the road was already under construction as part of the reconstruction efforts. However, the flooding has exacerbated the situation, leading to the current challenges faced by residents and commuters.

Oya, time for Igbos to bash the yourbas... Two poor tribes showing poverty mentality everywhere.

Meanwhile, let them build dam around that place with high current to generate electricity. Didn't they say if life should give you lemon, make lemonade out of it?

Wonderful comment, i ghave been bashing these tribes for long now because what they are doing is childish, and poor mentality, what they don't is both tribes have both very bad and very very good people, so why misbehaving online, especially during the elections. thanks bro fro this your comment, i hope everyone of them in this business.

Be sensible, please! It's not what you think. I'm sure you have heard of synonyms before. If you are ignorant of something, seek knowledge instead of displaying stupidity.

Now to teach you
Olódó is different from Olódo.

Olódó means owner of a mortar or a location where mortar is being made/sold

Olódo is a dumb person or a person who has low score or IQ

Igbo is a tribe in Nigeria
Igbo also synonymously means bush, cannabis, headbutts in Yoruba...

So please, seek wisdom always
