DSS is always in the news these days for the wrong reasons. There gestapo style operation since this new government came in,leaves a lot to be desired....may i just remind the present head of the secret police that power is transient,posterity may not be on his side.

So what's the reason for attempting to re-arrest the man? They had all the time to interrogate him before sending him to court. They had the charges before proceeding to court. Is it that they are no longer sure of their plans to permanently detain the man?

Why do Nigerian security agencies always arrest citizens, detain the fir ages, send them to court, re-arrest them at the court premises, detain them and start the process all over again?

They talk about the law and the rule of law, yet they flout them as as they wish.

People meant to be custodians and guardians of constitutional laws and tenets just act with sheepish impunity and repugnant brigandage! Nobody seems to want to recognise that Nigeria is supposed to be a democratic society. You held Emefiele in your custody for over a month, even without charging him to court, you were all over the press granting interviews outlining his supposed crimes. You had all that time to pile up your accusations against the man, and when you finally have your day in court, you charge him with possession of firearms. Now the court has granted him bail and you're foolish enough to be grandstanding outside the court premises.
