the auditioning at various Zones within Nigeria is completed as well as those of some west African sub regions.

The high point for me is a 15 year old girl who's already considered a super star by the panel of judges which includes Bibi, no moreloss, kwame and tymix. unfortunately the girl was considered too young as shes under 18 and wouldn't be part of the season 4. she wept bitterly but tymix promised to groom her up till shes 18 and then feature her in the season 7 edition. Mtn later promised to sponsor her in musical career development. Wow i saw this lady as a star. the stars for the season 4 are almost ready. This thread will be more of a countdown to the commencement of the show proper in the next few days.

click on the below link to see and read more, especially to watch the video performances by Brandy and Joe. Joe said he wants a collabo with either Tu face or Dbanj. he considers both as stars. He said emphatically that he anticipates such union and hes ready for it.

Wow! Sierra Leone had a fair share of excitement as talents trooped to Miatta Conference Centre for the auditions on the 13th of August, 2011. Joecelia of Season 3 was live at the venue to give moral support to the ‘wanna bes’. Some of the budding stars that got a NO in previous years' auditions made attempts this year, and a few of them finally got a YES to the next stage of auditions. So, have you ever been discouraged or given a NO? Don’t ever get discouraged, keep improving and keep trying, you may be the next music mega-star.

Liberia had its own share of the excitement as the audition train pulled to a halt last weekend @ The City Hall, Monrovia.

Several participants turned out, eager to show what they’ve got. Stars from previous seasons, Nicholas, Helen, and Samuel were present to give moral support to the budding stars.

Truth be told, the competition this season is going to be very stiff; Liberian folks are set to blow us all away.

Abuja, Kaduna and Lagos! Get set as the train heads in your direction.

The awaited Uyo auditions finally came last weekend (20th August) as eager participants from Uyo and environs trooped to Ibom Hall, Babangida Rd, Uyo to try their chance to stardom.

The excitement got to a state of frenzy as Iyanya (The Winner of Season 1) performed some lovely tunes from his album. They all identified with Iyanya as their hopes got renewed that if Iyanya could come this far, why can’t they?!

Despite their characterized accent, Uyo peeps did not fall short of the standard. They came totally prepared for the judges. Were they able to impress the judges enough? Time will tell …as the search continues!

National Women Development Center, Garki had an influx of hundreds of ‘wanna bes’ last weekend (Sept 3rd). These hopefuls were all in their best elements in a bid to give stardom a chance.

Very early in the morning, the gate of the venue was opened to as many as would want to give fame a chance. With tangible excitement, ‘state-of-the art’ swag, crooner’s voice, participants in and around Abuja trooped out en-mass to the venue to show what they’ve got.

The joy in the hearts of some folks knew no bounds as they got a yes from the judges while some others gallantly accepted their ‘try next season’ verdict.

The search for the next music mega start continues as the train finally pulls to a halt this weekend 9th-10th Sept. in Lagos.

Folks from the north were not left out at all. God obviously evenly distributed talents at creation. Gamji Hall, Kaduna was abuzz with excitement as some hopefuls thrilled the crowd to a state of frenzy.

Are we going to find another star like ‘Tolu’ of PF 3 from Kaduna this season? The stakes are very high because Kaduna peeps have stepped up their game. Many of them dazzled the Judges with their performances and we are tempted to ask, are you sure the winner this season will not emerge from Kaduna?

The search goes on,

eko for show cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
All roads in Lagos and its environ led to LTV 8 premises on the 9th and 10th of September 2011. It wasn't a National Conference neither was it the venue for a Governor's town meeting, it was the audition venue of Project Fame West Africa 4.

Very early in the morning, despite the rain, thousands of music star hopefuls flooded the gates of the audition venue in a bid to sing their way to fame. Lagos babes and guys, decked to the teeth, with top notch swag, all with just one aim, to impress the judges. The venue was great, the weather was cold and wet but the contestants were more than ready. To add colour to the event there were side attractions as some contestants  thrilled their fellow contestants with impeccable dance steps as the DJ dolled out tunes while others engaged in a rap battle. Freebies were available for the contestants also.

Tension, excitement, thrills and drama all laced the air as the contestants filed in to see the judges. while some wowed the judges, some could not perform up to expectation and of course the judges felt some other people don't have business being in the singing competition in the first place.

The days came to a halt when, despite the huge turn-out,all the contestants have been given a chance to sing for the judges.
Some got a YES,some NO while some got a "please look for another profession" verdict from the judges.
For those that got a YES,the battle has just begun,
