I have been able to stop drinking and pride by disassociating myself from useless friends.
Matthew 5:30 says
If your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away.

Jesus uses two graphic metaphors—it is better for disciples to pluck out their eyes and cut off their hands—as a way to memorably express an important truth. It is better to deny yourself in this life for His sake than to miss living life in His kingdom and enjoying its incredible benefits.

A god that wants us not to do things would make the odds of us not doing those things to be low by creating us in a way that we don't have the urges to do them.

Let me use this guy's question to answer you @chatinent.

If there are people like this bros above , still asking basic questions like this....it is an indication of something;

1. Maybe the so many churches existing presently have shifted from the simplicity of the Gospel, therefore God will keep recruiting more people who will talk about this missing piece(simple gospel) which should have answered this brothers question.

2. Maybe where this guy is, the gospel hasn't reached there yet...so expect more churches to open to extend this gospel to his kind.

No matter the number of doctors and nurses in Nigeria, every year, new batches will be graduating from medical schools.


Back to my brothers question

The only people who are qualified for heaven are those who die in faith in Christ Jesus ie. Those who accepted Jesus as there Lord and Master. Rom.10: 6-11.

Talking about Righteous men....Check out 2 Cor.5:17-21....you will understand what righteousness means...ask questions if you wish to be cleared more.

Church Inc. is a lucrative business.

Get a few dimwits together, put the literal fear of god (and their children, colleagues, friends, neighbors, inlaws) into them, and you'll cash out like crazy.

Just remember to make sure they're terrified of everything and everyone around them, especially Muslims, and guide their feeble minds to believe you've superhuman abilities, and your revenue will grow.

I say if there is one sin I would like God to reverse as no sin....then that's sexual lust...cos my body craves for it.
however, its still a sin no matter how pleasurable....and I have so far been able to discipline myself...
