He rertires without winning the much revered champions league title, which desire is what kept him playing football up until now, in his mid 40s.

Anyways, he should be proud of his accomplishments in the game; and he did achieve quite a lot.

The champions league winning medal should be the only medal missing in his medals cabinet, and that remains a huge and rare accomplishment which many footballer can only hope for.

I thought so 2 years ago- what's there in being between the sticks, I thought standing as a goalie would be nothing, when my colleagues had a friendly match... until I mistakenly did a split while trying to block a shot... omo mheeeen, the next day I was walking around like a Penguin on crutches... as in I literally tore my Niyash man ... It took me almost 1 month to fully recover.
