General Medical Laboratory scientists Migration/japa thread by Helicase: 10:19am On Aug 03, 2023
Hello fellow Scientists.

This general thread is intended for Nigerian-trained Medical Laboratory Scientists who are seeking better opportunities abroad, such as in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and other countries.

I created this thread owing to the fact I have searched Nairaland and am yet to see a Japa thread for Nigerian medical laboratory scientists.

I only found the Medical Laboratory Scientists forum but it seems not to be active.

So, all intending migrant Scientists should meet here to discuss, rub minds and share tips cum ideas about how to migrate to different countries (Ireland, UK, Canada, Australia, USA etc,. including their respective Visa requirements, certifications, costs and exams.

Thanks.

Where did you get that information from?
That's a fallacy.
I like the fact that you said it is hearsay.

Big lies.. Clinical Lab Scientists are different from Lab technicians in the USA. They don't even write the same exams.

With years of experience, M.Sc or PhD as a Specialist Medical Lab Scientist in Micro, Hematology or Chem path, you are eligible to be Medical Lab Director.

To practise in the USA, write your ASCPi, get Visascreen, and start applying for jobs from Nigeria (H1-B) visa sponsorship are available for many positions, if you have the ASCPi and Visascreen.

It is expensive but it is worth it.

Hello guys, I'm working towards taking the ASCP exams this year. I'd love to know if anyone has study materials to share because all I've been coming across are scamers, I feel this is a safer space to ask for it. Thank you

UK is saturated for now, face Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, USA. Be ready to write exams for some of them.
