Over to the Igbos who have declared their support for the coup plotters in Niger.
Something I don't understand about Igbos though, not long ago they were criticizing Buhari for building a railway link to Maradi.
They accused Buhari of helping his people in Niger, fast forward to now, they are ready to pay the Supreme price, as in lay down their lives for Niger.

I don't get it.
When did dey tell u that they're ready to lay down their lives for Niger?

Tinubu has the problem of legitimacy hanging on his neck. He probably wants to go to war just to add it in his emilokan CV.

He removed subsidy, now he's wants Nigeria to fund a war that would have no end, and then spend some more to curtail the fallouts on our national security.

Lol. devil must really hate Nigerians.

The President, Bola Tinubu, has written to the Senate seeking its support on the deployment of military personnel to the Niger Republic.

He also sought the backing of the legislature on the cutting off of electricity to the country.

The PUNCH had reported that Niger’s democratically elected president, Mohamed Bazoum, was toppled by his guards.

Tinubu, Nigeria’s president and the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States, had on Sunday met with some fellow ECOWAS leaders to discuss appropriate ways to restore democracy in Niger.

The leaders of the West African regional bloc met to discuss sanctions to be placed against the military personnel who toppled Bazoum on July 26, 2023.

The President’s letter read, “Political situation in Niger. Following the unfortunate political situation in Niger Republic culminating in the overthrow of its President, ECOWAS under my leadership condemned the coup in its entirety and resolved to seek the return of the democratically elected govt in a bid to restore peace, ECOWAS convened a meeting and came out with a communique.”

The president further sought support for, “Military buildup and deployment of personnel for military intervention to enforce compliance of the military junta in Niger should they remain recalcitrant.

"Closure and monitoring of all land borders with the Niger Republic and reactivating of the border drilling exercise.

“Cutting off Electricity supply to the Niger Republic, mobilising international support for the implementation of the provisions of the ECOWAS communique.”

“Preventing the operation of commercial and special flights into and from Niger Republic; Blockade of goods in transit to Niger especially from Lagos and eastern seaports,” he added.

Tinubu also told the Senate that the country was embarking on sensitisation of Nigerians and Nigerians on the imperative of these actions, particularly via social media.

I hardly make a a wrong call.. Anyone that knows Tinubu should tell him this a very wrong move that will eventually backfire against his govt and even cause his own ouster by Northern Nigerian elements of the military...He should stay out of this crisis for the good of Nigeria and his own good please
you took the words outta my mouth, some ignorant kids don't know that Niger republic is an extension on Northern Nigeria. Half of their population is Hausa with kanuri and Fulani. What's even worse is that those peeps have sympathy for themselves and many of the bandits operating in Nigeria are from Niger republic. Tinubu should better watch his back and find a diplomatic solution to the crisis rather than shooting himself on the legs. I have a feeling this might be a trap for him. But again let his foolish supporters keep shouting Igbos up and down

Tinubu should be very careful, I know it's the west that is urging him to go to war, because of what they stand to gain, but he should consider the danger ahead.

Wait and see the junta will be ousted without PIM from anybody, ..... infact, it's Hausa man that would lead the attack.

If Nigeria fears to invade minow Niger with powerful countries of the world in surport of us, what will now happenes if advanced country of the world is threatening Nigeria?

I guess person like you would have drink sniper before war starts

The same thing with. You were hailing Buhari for building rail to Niger. Now you want tinubu to go and bomb the rail line. Where is your logic?

What Wagner? Wagner is coming to fight Ecowas for trying to defend democracy in a member state? What exactly will be Wagner's mission? To restore peace or to continue looting the resources of the Nigeriens just like they have been doing in some other African countries?
Why are we not fighting to restore democracy in Mali, Burkina Faso? What is our interest?
