President Tinubu's nomination of Bosun Tijani as a ministerial candidate showcases a commendable commitment to recognizing and harnessing competence and capabilities. However, it is disheartening to see young people who should ordinarily celebrate the appointment of one of their own calling for the withdrawal of Tijani's nomination due to his past expressions of concern over the Nigerian state and the management of our resources.

I commend President Tinubu for his discerning choice and call on young people to always criticize in more constructive ways.

President Tinubu's choice of Bosun Tijani as a ministerial nominee reflects a refreshing departure from traditional political considerations. Tijani's proven competence and unwavering dedication to the development of Nigeria's technology and innovation sector makes him an ideal candidate. As the co-founder of Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) and Africa's Talking, Tijani has demonstrated an exceptional ability to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation in the digital space.

By nominating Tijani, President Tinubu has demonstrated a commitment to embracing expertise, recognizing the importance of cutting-edge technology, and prioritizing sectors with the potential to drive economic growth. Such decision signifies an approach to governance that transcends political affiliations and prioritizes the nation's progress over personal interests.

It is regrettable that some individuals are demanding the withdrawal of Tijani's nomination based on his past expressions of dissatisfaction with Nigeria's leadership and maladministration. We must recognize that constructive criticism is an essential component of any thriving democracy. Dissatisfaction with the status quo should not be viewed as a disqualification for public office, but rather as an opportunity to address the concerns expressed.

Tijani's past expressions of concern demonstrate his deep-rooted passion for Nigeria's progress and his commitment to bringing about positive change. As a ministerial nominee, Tijani's critical perspective can serve as a catalyst for introspection and improvement within the government.

Visionary leaders understand that progress can only be achieved through a diversity of perspectives and a willingness to embrace those who challenge the status quo. By nominating Bosun Tijani, President Tinubu has exhibited the qualities of a leader who values expertise, innovation, and transformative ideas. It is through such visionary leadership that Nigeria can overcome its challenges and pave the way for a brighter future.

Rather than dismissing Tijani's nomination (based on his past criticisms), we should appreciate the fact that President Tinubu is willing to surround himself with individuals who can provide fresh insights and solutions to the nation's problems. It is imperative that leaders foster an environment of open dialogue and collaboration, where diverse opinions are valued and leveraged for the benefit of the nation.

I extend my heartfelt wishes to Bosun in his screening later today and respectfully urge those who disagree with his previous remarks/utterances to approach the situation with fairness, logic and compassion.

Might be the youngest nominee so far.... But the young Audu of Kogi state is equally a young lad.....

Not trusting the fact that he was lobbying for finance minister... Must be a plan work for Yahaya Bello to have his hands on the national cake....

This goes to show that all those who curse Tinubu from morning till night are only wasting their time

PBAT doesn't keep those stuff to heart. I remember during the endsars protest, some Nigerians called Tinubu on the phone insulting him yet he calmly answered them ignoring their insults

He deeply cares for this country and should be supported by all patriots

Pan.dora threatened to sue a newspaper for publishing a 'fake' call yet he is yet to do so. Very unreliable and deceitful man. If it were him, he'd put only ipob miscreants as ministers. Foolish idiot

We're all waiting for the outcome of the election tribunal. Once they give their judgement, any baga wey do anyhow go see anyhow. We're prepared. Just write it down

We will treat them in a language they'll understand. A lesson they'll never forget for generations

So many of this kind of PR suddenly flying around. It is really a bad spot for him and sincerely I will not be surprised if he has already been rejected by the Senate. He should just continue to pray for favour.

It's a national embarrassment and onslaught on our psyche and insensitive to our national woes caused by a legion of highly disrespectful profane youths who are still struggling with respect, that with the gravity of his action, he was presented before the Senate in the first place. I wish no one brought up this issue during his presentation at the screening, it was completely sad and abhorrent!! What was he thinking? shocked Does he call his own parents morons?

Tinubu once said he doesn't believe in Nigeria. No be so? The article is on Google.

As for those screaming their lungs and drilling Bosun like those people did earlier on today,I guess if they had drilled Tinubu like that and he wasn't hiding and running away from interviews, Maybe most of his missteps in the past two months won't have happened

Anyways,Bosun is the only better candidate in all of the list Tinubu sent. The rest are only food for the boys..

Majority of them are food for the boys except maybe Bosun and one or two. The rest are birds of the same feather

Shior!

Those wishing Nigeria bad are only doing so because they lack opportunity.

Look at Ojukwu for instance. Got 3M of his kinsmen killed and came back to collect FG pension. Nothing for those who died under him.

Even see Kanu of recent. Only God knows what DSS promised him. He is ready to pledge his life to Tinubu.

The guy gave all those insults cos he was frustrated according to him. If he's confirmed, he should be prepared for premium frustration depending on the ministry he's appointed to head. The civil servants are the most difficult people to work with. They know the terrain . The civil servants are the barracks while the ministers are the soldier go soldier come. It will be interesting to see how he performs.

Most people think being competent and intelligent is enough to succeed as a minister or As the Head of a Government agency. That's not enough o. Managing civil servants and unions and changing the status quo is where the real work is.

It's a call to serve, if he is not considered he shouldn't kill himself about it if his wish is truly to serve. He lashed out in frustration at a time because he felt things were not being done properly, though his language might be deemed inappropriate.
