Curse777: That's a domestic issues you are talking about, invading Niger will only worsen our domestic problems, We have a lot of issues affecting us as a nation that we need to solve internally not playing the big brother rule just because our president is the chairman of ECOWAS. For your question about my LGA and my leaders stuff...the citizens of Niger are solidly in surport of the Junta's take over more reason they calleded Tinubu Ebola, So, that answers your question. |

Peacecore: The seats of every head of state will remain at stake or at risk of forceful removal as long as they continue in unbridled and unchecked CORRUPTION! There is no reaction without an initial action... No smoke without fire. This is why we make such noise online... This is why we preach Anti-corruption, transparency, and development. Democracy in most African nations is the most corrupt and backward on Earth (no jokes), especially here in West Africa... We can and should do better. You won't need to fight to safeguard a working and corruption-free democracy that is fully transparent and people-centered... It will never be under threat. Sometimes, I think we constantly sweep the real issues under the carpet. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

carl90: Offpoint. 1. Use force to do what? 2. If coup d'etat shouldn't be the norm in Africa, should bad governance and poverty be the norm? 3. Which is more prevalent in Africa, coups or poverty/bad governance? |

Angelfrost:Corruption happens everywhere around the world but you rarely hear about coup in Europe and America n not even Asia. Remember that most of these coup are carried out by power-hungry military officers, not for the interest of the citizens. It happened many times in Nigeria n we saw it. Let them show him the door through the ballots or use peaceful n organized protest to force him to resign if they can't wait. |

Peacecore: Now, you sound typically like naive parents of old lying to themselves that "with time" corruption will be under control in Nigeria as our democracy progresses, yet it has grown unimaginably worse. Corruption of the scale in Nigeria, and Africa doesn't happen anywhere abroad... NONE! If it were on the same unbridled level, Europe, America, and the Middle East would not be this shockingly ahead of us... Your nation and continent are not even marginally progressing, sir. This is not pessimism, not cynicism... This is a hard cold fact! Look at our debt burden... Look at the compromised security system... See the pattern of appointments where meritocracy is shunned... Where is the transparency in revenue generation and spending??! Let's be clear... I prefer Democracy to Military rule (Please, who wouldn't?)... But, an Anti-people and corrupt democracy will lead any nation into anarchy and dictatorship! History is quite clear on this... Good Afternoon. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Stop being foolish and stop sending peoples children into a useless war that is obviously masterminded by useless political interest. Why will Tinubu be hell bent on doing this nonsense, the North is against it? Why will an ill-equipped and Politicized Nigerian Military confront "battle tested" NIGER forces and survive? A military that has been fighting Bokoharam for ages and it took CHAD 9months to hunt down shekau and kill him? Yoruba man, Tinubu is actually digging your useless political grave, as its now obvious that this is the same template you mizcreants used during the onset of the BIAFRAN war. Tinubu has just reincarnated and exposed the uselessly foolish tribalism that is in the DNA of you despicable people...spits ba7man: |

Watcharena: ...And this should be the things on the table instead of demanding that the military men return power instantly. The military should correct any flaws in the nation's constitution, ensure better elections are conducted, and merited leaders are elected and sworn in. 1 Like 1 Share |

Racoon:Gbadebo is a confused human being, I'm not sure he even understand the subject he's contributing to. Is this not the same man who wanted to benefit from the opportunity created by democracy? Now, he doesn't understand why coupists must be ousted by force when they refused to be reasoned with. |

Peacecore: That's why Africa must sit down and sort out this corrupt farce they call democracy... A system of government supposedly meant for the people but only benefits the few powerful, and constantly being manipulated by these same people with the help of Colonial exploiters will keep the continent heading back to the worse Dictatorship. That is why Nigeria must get things right under this administration in every sector... This might be democracy's last chance in Nigeria if we are not careful. 2 Likes |

TheBillyonaire: Some of you just come here and calculate war with words as if it's that simple, same mistake Russia did and felt they were over-running Ukraine over-night but see the war is over a year old and still going. The truth is that Nigeria and ECOWAS may be seeing the war as fighting just Niger not knowing there will be a lot of allies aiding them to fight at the background making the war more difficult for ECOWAS. In war no body wins, everyone is affected. If African leaders have sense they wont go and listen to the westerners to come and destroy their own peaceful continent. This America and Russia you are siding or working against dont wish Africa well. If they come to support you in a war just know they want something from you by way of your resources or sell you weapons to destroy yourselves while they smile to the bank. Lets have some sense and reject both Russia and NATO members. Let Africans diplomatically resolve their issues as brothers. my two cents |

Kalashnikov49: Obsolete? Are you sure you were in Nigeria when Buhari was spending hugely on our military equipment or you were in coma? I don't think you know what you are saying at all. If it's ground battle, they will kill your troops mercilessly, because it's their terrain. What terrain? The desert! Do you even know their army personnel maximum capacity? Laughing |
