You get Fuel for plane and troop movement?

Dude, why are you running up and down denigrating Nigeria's millitary might in support of Niger Republic??

If you want to relocate to Niamey, why don't you go and be where your heart is??

President Bill Clinton issued an ultimatum for the coup plotters give up power on a certain date and re-instate Aristide. As the deadline was approaching, the coupists left the presidential palace and returned to their barracks. I don't recall if any action was taken against them.

Edit
In situations like this, they'd be promised a free passage into exile or a retirement from the army without facing trial as a condition for giving up power.
that was after they have spent 4 years in office. But I think those guy in Niger may not even stay upto 2 years in office they will organize election within 2 years or less

Let me check your honesty on Dictatorship

What if You wake up tomorrow and you Governor , LGA Chairman, and all your leaders got arrested and replaced by Colonel Danladi Bako from Katsina, Major General Amzat Ibrahim from Kano, and this guys don't share anything Christianity in fact they hate it

What would be you perception

That's a domestic issues you are talking about, invading Niger will only worsen our domestic problems,

We have a lot of issues affecting us as a nation that we need to solve internally not playing the big brother rule just because our president is the chairman of ECOWAS.

For your question about my LGA and my leaders stuff...the citizens of Niger are solidly in surport of the Junta's take over more reason they calleded Tinubu Ebola,

So, that answers your question.

I'm not saying that you watch BBnaija. I'm just talking generally on what some of our youths do and come later to complain. Yes, there are many works that have been left undone by our political class especially but that doesn't mean that some urgent civil matters like this shouldn't be attended to because we're still not satisfied. It's true it's not happening in Nigeria but remember that an injustice to one is an injustice to all. Until everyone is free, we're all slaves. If this abnormality is left unchecked, then the seats of other heads of states are at stake. They should wait and use democratic means, that's my own stance.

The seats of every head of state will remain at stake or at risk of forceful removal as long as they continue in unbridled and unchecked CORRUPTION!

There is no reaction without an initial action... No smoke without fire.

This is why we make such noise online... This is why we preach Anti-corruption, transparency, and development.

Democracy in most African nations is the most corrupt and backward on Earth (no jokes), especially here in West Africa... We can and should do better.

You won't need to fight to safeguard a working and corruption-free democracy that is fully transparent and people-centered... It will never be under threat.

Sometimes, I think we constantly sweep the real issues under the carpet.

So we should allow the soldiers to rule the Africa continent?
What is their leadership quality like?
That you can shoot a gun and kill does not mean you are a leader.
Take example Nigeria 's former president,Buhari ,what did he do as a president?
One hell of a failure,that man !
All I know ,the ballot remain the best way to choose a leader, not the bullet.

Offpoint.

1. Use force to do what?

2. If coup d'etat shouldn't be the norm in Africa, should bad governance and poverty be the norm?

3. Which is more prevalent in Africa, coups or poverty/bad governance?

No fly zone in war time does not stop enemy fly-in, but stops commercial flights. Let's deploy a thousand drones in 5 minutes and exhaust their batteries and then get our jets to drop bombs on their tanks and inventories.

We can start with that.

Corruption happens everywhere around the world but you rarely hear about coup in Europe and America n not even Asia. Remember that most of these coup are carried out by power-hungry military officers, not for the interest of the citizens. It happened many times in Nigeria n we saw it. Let them show him the door through the ballots or use peaceful n organized protest to force him to resign if they can't wait.

Fear don grip Coupist , and his Fellow Coupist accross West Africa

Facts.. about the invasion

✓Europe is a cold continent that heavily need gas for electricity, energy and heat

✓Russia is European largest Supplier of Gas through Nord Stream 1 and 2 , US is also a supplier

✓Nigeria has one of the largest gas reserve in the world infact we burn and flare gas wasting it for fun

✓European Union wants to build a Gas pipeline from Niger Delta to Morroco and Europe through Spain.. giving them very cheap Nigeria gas

✓Nigeria is set to make Billions of Dollars, which Russia makes

P.S; people talking about Boko Haram and Bandit,

✓International Military convention you can't use maximum lethal force on your own citizens, Boko Haram are Kanuri, Bandits are Hausa, Herdsmen are Fulani

✓Jonathan tried it an US stop selling weapons to him because he killed his own people

.

Corruption of the scale in Nigeria, and Africa doesn't happen anywhere abroad... NONE!

Let's be clear... I prefer Democracy to Military rule (Please, who wouldn't?)... But, an Anti-people and corrupt democracy will lead any nation into anarchy and dictatorship! History is quite clear on this... Good Afternoon.

Stop being foolish and stop sending peoples children into a useless war that is obviously masterminded by useless political interest.

Why will Tinubu be hell bent on doing this nonsense, the North is against it?

Why will an ill-equipped and Politicized Nigerian Military confront "battle tested" NIGER forces and survive?

A military that has been fighting Bokoharam for ages and it took CHAD 9months to hunt down shekau and kill him?

Yoruba man, Tinubu is actually digging your useless political grave, as its now obvious that this is the same template you mizcreants used during the onset of the BIAFRAN war.

Tinubu has just reincarnated and exposed the uselessly foolish tribalism that is in the DNA of you despicable people...spits

Anyone who listens to you people make mouth like this will think Nigeria is quite an advanced and highly developed nation.

You guys should sort out your economy and solve this shameful decades long insecurity and terrorism within your nation before lying to the world that you are an African super power.

Bandits and terrorists are still very comfy in the North and SouthEast... Civil servants are still trekking to work and are underfed, economy is still shamefully import-based, but general priority has now become humbling another nation's military.

SMH!!!

The military should correct any flaws in the nation's constitution, ensure better elections are conducted, and merited leaders are elected and sworn in.

That's why Africa must sit down and sort out this corrupt farce they call democracy...

A system of government supposedly meant for the people but only benefits the few powerful, and constantly being manipulated by these same people with the help of Colonial exploiters will keep the continent heading back to the worse Dictatorship.

That is why Nigeria must get things right under this administration in every sector... This might be democracy's last chance in Nigeria if we are not careful.

Some of you just come here and calculate war with words as if it's that simple, same mistake Russia did and felt they were over-running Ukraine over-night but see the war is over a year old and still going.

The truth is that Nigeria and ECOWAS may be seeing the war as fighting just Niger not knowing there will be a lot of allies aiding them to fight at the background making the war more difficult for ECOWAS.

In war no body wins, everyone is affected. If African leaders have sense they wont go and listen to the westerners to come and destroy their own peaceful continent.
This America and Russia you are siding or working against dont wish Africa well. If they come to support you in a war just know they want something from you by way of your resources or sell you weapons to destroy yourselves while they smile to the bank.

Lets have some sense and reject both Russia and NATO members. Let Africans diplomatically resolve their issues as brothers. my two cents
