its a very poor salary if you live and pay taxes and pay bills in canada. i converted to pounds. its 26000 pounds. thats like minimum wage

The problem is that most of our artisans have competence and integrity gaps.

Anyone who has worked in construction has horror stories about the rubbish artisans get up to. But they can get away with that in Nigeria. If you have a foundation of incompetence and corner cutting, I am not sure how you can cut it in an environment where there are actual consequences for poor service.

This particular visa isn't new for Canadian Japa levels, it a pity that most Nigerians can't get through it. All these skills need certificates like trade test diploma Etc there are still other coded runs involved.

They accept on-the-job training and apprenticeship as a qualification, you just have to proof you have the experience.
