Nigerians are too religious. God no go kee you if you go work on sunday, true religion starts from the heart.

There is a service to be rendered. So, let them do it.

How can a Christian preacher whose main working day is on Sundays be asking people not to go work on Sundays? In my own opinion, it is own way of advertising his/her means of livelihood so as to attract people to come and contribute money and other worldly materials for the growth of their mission. If you don't have money and connections, you have to outwork everyone; else you will suffer.

Going to church is simply having communion with the one another. And sharing God's word to strengthen one another in the faith. It is not serving God.

Serving God is what you do all the days of the week. It is what you do with your life.

They're equating going to church as serving God or being a Christian.

IT DEPENDS ON THE DAY EACH DENOMINATION PREFER OR BELIEVE TO BE THE SABATH DAY!THEY DONT GO TO WORK ON THEIR OWN SABATH BUT ATTEND CHURCH SERVICES ON THAT DAY!OTHERS WHO TAKE SUNDAY AS THEIR SABATH DO HOWEVER GO TO WORK AFTER THE SERVICE!THIS COULD BE DUE TO THE NATURE OF THEIR JOBS!!

Actually the sinners are those who go to work on Sabbath day (Saturday) if we choose to be honest to ourselves. But we are too focused on the Book written by other men in Medieval times that the whole world left us behind in 21st Century.

They are hardworking people and Bible is proud of them as recorded in 1 Timothy 5:8

I work on Sundays and I only fellowship when I have the time.
This Sunday work, na God give me am.
With it, I pay my rent, feed myself and my family.
If church says otherwise, they should give me a higher and sustainable offer.

The Sabbath law was made between God and the Israel. With the death of Jesus Christ the Mosaic Law that included keeping of Sabath came to an end
Now christiains are free to work on Sunday before or after the Services . Christians are mo longer under the Mosaic Law.

Exodus 31:13-17

1-6th yea must work but on the seventh day you must rest even in the midst of harvest.
