The Labour Party (LP) has said it is grateful that God has exposed the ineptitude and level of unpreparedness of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu.

Chief Spokesperson of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council (LP-PCC) in the 2023 general elections, Dr Yunusa Tanko also said the current battle by the LP challenging Tinubu’s victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal is not that of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi but that of God.

While commenting on the level of hardship in the country occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy, Tanko urged LP members to be patient and wait for the outcome of the tribunal ruling. According to him, the party will decide the next line of action after the court has given its verdict.

He said “We are very grateful to God for exposing the ineptitude and level of unpreparedness of this so-called government. To us, we believe this is God’s battle and not that of any individual. It is not Peter Obi’s battle but that of God. The rights of the people have been trampled upon and they have been denied their rightful leadership by these anti-people forces”.

“So, therefore we should tarry a bit. We should wait for the outcome of the judgement. It is after the judgement has been made that we can now sit back and take the right decision on our next course of action”.

“Any attempt now at protest or anything will be seen as if we are not democrats and we are not following the laid down rules and regulations of the elections, even though we knew that those we battled against are the ones not complying with the rules and regulations, including the umpire”.

“We are civilised, loyal and obedient citizens and we respect the laws of the country. After the judgment, we will now know the next steps to take”.

LP no worry
All eyes on the judiciary
Let them do their mago mago judgement, if the country goes on chaos, the judges will be held accountable. I don’t pray for any uproar in the country but the judges can do an easy job by saving our nations, please

Just 3months to this man’s regime, Nigerians has suffered a suffering of 8years

Imagine him in that seat for just 4 years

All eyes on the Judiciary to ratify the victory of Tinubu and zero the 6m votes scored by Obi for being an illegitimate candidate of the Labour Party.

The lesson to be learnt is that there shall be no reward without labour, even if you hunt for ticket and get it in Labour Party.

The reward is only for those who truly put in the effort over time and nurtured their ambition by growing their party and laboured for the success of others.

The lesson for Atiku and Obi and Kwankwaso is that one should not labour aimlessly due to the individual greed and ego that could have combined to forge a common pursuit.

3 losers all from one same party, PDP, as at April 2022.

Obi even went all the way and bought PDP forms and got screened for the primary, only to abandon ship less than 1 week to the primary and took up Labour Party ticket when it was too late to be a legitimate candidate of a party he did not belong to.
