Half paint of garri, 1 sachet of tomato paste, 1 sachet of tomato paste, 1 sachet of groundnut, one sachet of salt, 2 derica of rice and 2 cup of beans. Where the palliatives shared to about 80 people out of the over 300 people that were present at the palliatives ground in Lagos.

Lagos state government generated N179.912 billion as Internally-Generated Revenue (IGR) in the first quarter of 2023 and sharing this crumbs to the people as palliatives is just too shameful.

What will family of 5 do with two derica of garri and a sachet of sugar as palliatives in this economic downtown?

Why is there too many hungry people in Lagos ??

I think the Lagos government can still do better unless they want to tell us that the revenue that's been generated in Lagos is going into "Baba Bourdilon" bullion vans.

Where is the massive in the crowd?
This is Alimosho, the biggest LGA in Lagos. The people here are not even up to 300.

Anyway. Nice initiative by the government unlike so many useless states that have nothing to offer their residents.

Even the so called westerners have food banks, soup kitchens and shelters. The picture below shows a white woman packing a loaf of nut bread and banana into bags for distribution to the less privileged.

Shut up. It's mainly rice, beans and garri. No groundnuts.

Show is what your own local government has given it's residence then maybe I will take you serious.

True talk. It's all over the country. Even here in Abuja street begging has increased. Casual beggars before are now chronic beggars.

The Tinubu Negative and deadly effect is reaching and touching everyone.

Even APC sufferhead Supporters aka team suffering and smiling, sophisticators and Ronu crew are not having it easy. grin

Majority, especialy those who are not in government are receiving the heat back to back.

I believe that from now till 2027 more brains will reset.

Yama Yama. All I see is poverty and humiliation of people. What will that small nylon bag do for one person? Talk more of families?! Can it last two days?!

Charles Darwin's theory is indeed occuring in Nigeria. SMH.

It's not a one time palliative.

To lodge complaints, You can reach out to the LGA through their Facebook account at:

Pathetic!
