Those private sector has been first provided a business enabling environment by government to run their business whose profit they use to effect the society the way they can.

Abroad:

Government does not leave education and health care to the private sector.

Emergency services like ambulance, fire service and police actually work unlike in Nigeria.

Government provides security for its citizens. You don't have police standing at random checkpoints looking to extort citizens and taking cover once they hear any gunshot during robberies.

Government provides a sane climate for businesses to thrive. They don't multiple tax SMEs out of existence like in Nigeria.

Government does not allow Agberos in whatever guise to extort transport workers abroad as is the case in Nigeria.

In Nigeria, we provide housing, water, education and electricity for ourselves. Our schools up to universities are a mess ditto our health systems. Security is non existent and corruption and hifh cost of governance still a menace.

Nigerians don't ask for much just provision of basic amenities like good roads, electricity and functional hospitals and schools but even after 50 years of independence, our systems are still a mess.

We just love to complain all the time. How are the citizens better than those in govt? Garbage in, garbage out. There are many public institutions abroad that get major funding for research and support from Private citizens and companies. If you dont live there, you will not know. Even some who live there are not conscious enough to understand how things are run.

It is their responsibility for them to do everything for us because that is what the constitution says. Provisions of infrastructure, basic amenities, employment, etc. So therefore, they owned us a lot.

But the govt is doing everything for her and her family, feeding them, clothing them, sheltering them, paying for all their expenses
