Even as a Yoruba Muslim, this is bad.
There is freedom of religion, and we shouldn't intimidate our brothers that wants to exercise their freedom of worship.

No matter how much we try to impress the caliphate, a Yoruba Muslim can never be an imam in a Northern mosque.

This ass-licking has to continue. grin

We yoruba Muslims are not fools.

Oga this ass leaking from the Yorubas must continue grin

I envy the Fulanis doggedness. cool

Action speaks louder than just shouting & screaming. 🤤
You envy their doggedness but if actually they are in the majority, why can't they produce a Fulani governor in kwara state? Their ruling is only limited to Ilorin alone and not other towns in kwara state.

Re: Ifa Council Suspends Isese Festival In Ilorin by NoToPile: 9:22am On Aug 18, 2023
The Irony of the matter is the main proponents of this matter are Yorubas in Ilorin.
It's purely a religious matter, we know that if any form of religious intolerance will start among Yorubas it's will definitely start from Ilorin. They can be very fanatical, they have history.

I don't understand the brand of religion they are practicing that is different from the other Yorubas that are Muslims in the in the southwest.

The challenge is even the police cannot guarantee the security of the Isesee worshipers.

Goodlady:

Firstly, the target of these jihadists are Christians and not traditionalists. It's unconstitutional that Isese ll be banned. The constitution of Nigeria is superior to religious laws.
Secondly, Yoruba muslims in Ilorin are some kinda fanatics that carried the religion on their head like they v been brainwashed by the caliphate. They are the teeth they used in biting others. See that MURIC prof Ishaq Akintola for example is from Ilorin. So when the yorubas there are acting like they don't know other yorubas, how do you help them?
Nevertheless, In future, Ilorin ll be ruled by yorubas.
As for those threatening jihad, Allah the most merciful is not supporting this act. There are many screenshots I saw on Facebook from people already threatening Isese people showing picture man holding sword saying it's time for their jihad.
Isese people have the right to their religion in Ilorin. This act has created more dark image on Islam how it's not an accommodating religion with different extremists.
Quran 2:256 explained that people can be preached to but not forced to be in Islam.

Historically, Ilorin was founded by early Yoruba settlers like Ojo Onisekuse, Laderin etc.
When forming Kwara State, it should v been Yoruba territories should v been carved out.
If Isese is not allowed, then the title if emir is not right cos the majority of native dwellers in Kwara State are yorubas or we call them Yoruba speaking people. The map of southwest wasn't done well. It should v extended to parts of Kwara and Kogi.
Fundamentalist:

We (Ilorin) have never claimed to be Yoruba in the first place.
So why are you speaking Yoruba Language?
You guys should change your culture to Fulani or Walahi Talahi culture of Saudi Arabia.
It's obvious you are a troll so get the fück out of this mosque!

Nobody is forcing any lifestyle on others. The problem with you people is lack of understanding. Festivities are celebrations and not a day to enforce. People have the right to celebrate whatever they believed on.

Only a fool will think otherwise

I dont have a take on this but i thibk the isese part have won the battle by giving peace a chance rather than fighting and killing
Illorin is not a business at hand now so they have been able or partially solve some part of thd problem themselves

Good move from the ifa

You aren't getting it. It's understandable you guys have mapped out different plots. How about illegalizing Islam in Kwara and removing emirates from it?
You know you said Kwara isn't for yorubas alone and their are many tribes there. Some of your janjawëed alfas can't speak for all Kwarans. So it'll interest you that not all is buying your jihadists crap.
So this is what I see. Soon, Islam ll be barred in some areas in Ilorin. You can scream hell, it won't burn.
And don't forget, history has thought many that your next targets and original plans are against Christianity. In all, evil you v planted ll hunt you. Isese people ll have some saynand they ll retaliate. When it's time, you, your emir, Ali-Agan and other janjawëeds shouldn't cry.

It also means that the government of the state does not include Illorin.

Technically, they own the governor irrespective of his tribe, hence they call the shot in Illorin, or Illorin is not part of the state.
