Don't quit your job
Start POS on the side with like 200k since it requires little capital to start.
Do online courses on Tech.
Keep saving.
NB; 1m is nothing in this current economy. And certainly not a good time to start a reasonable business. I'm into bakery and 1m is barely 20 bags of sugar now. When I started my business in 2019. I bought my oven and mixer for 1m. Sugar was like 10k.

Biko, come and use the 100k to take me out on an expensive date.

It’s better to spend the money on me than waste it on business you have no idea about. Its not as if the economy is friendly undecided

Biko, come and lavish it on me!!!!

I've been working in an Asian company since 2017, then my salary was 70k, but it fluctuates up and down currently I've been at 100k for the past 3 years or so.

Recently I was transferred to a village with no electricity and the salary remains the same.

I'm an engineering graduate from one of the top federal Universities in the south west.

Nevertheless, I've come to a stage where I'm considering business, given my set-aside capital of about 1million naira, and because of the Sunday to Sunday work schedule, I am considering quitting, inorder to start either a barbing shop, POS, or bike business .

Do you think it is a good idea?
Friend, I resigned to start a business in 2021. I was a fullstack engineer. Please, do not resign until you have crossed your t's.

I had backings... If you try it without backings, you will be shocked as to what the results could be.

If your initial setup would be funded within that 1m, please hold on. Setup the barbers shop first...learn the trade first...

Finally when you do resign, remember Rome wasn't built in a day. It may not look like Rome in 7yrs...

My own stake his dis look for a better job first Sunday to Sunday work is not it.I myself work for a Chinese company na Sunday to Sunday bt me I don't joke with my Sunday.I don't care how much dey pay.Bro just look for a better job that pays higher save more and then set out to do ur business bt if u can find a side hustle on net like affiliate marketing to give u extra source of income u can be doing that after u come back from ur home.Business now if u get someone to manage it na chop dey go help u chop am finish. So take ur time look for a better job, start affiliate marketing save more and set out.
