Hide all your successes. Don't even let anyone know anything about you. In fact, if you want to go far, don't post anything on social media, dont boast or even tell people about your achievements. People are very very insecure and filled with envy here in nigeria. If you are able to relocate, then better. If not, hide your self until you can afford a house in a secure estate in abuja where successful people are, then you can live freely with your blessings. Even people who are very close to you and smile with you to your face may not be happy deep down. Keep saving money while you go very very very low key. Buy a cheaper car even and use the change to buy land. A benz c180 will serve your needs for now. No need to draw attention. Its dangerous

This is the sad reality.

What do you need car for as a medical student?

If you need a car then go and get camry tiny light. That will serve you better.
Unless you just want to go and show off.
As a medical student, your target should be to read hard and pass all your MBBS exams without any resit and then plan to write USMLE or PLAB after you have graduated and done your internship.

If you are really a medical student, getting a car now should not be your priority. Your priority should be passing your exams. In this hard economy you want to get a car. I pity you.
Your consultants/lecturer will park car and you park beside them and you think they will be smiling at you?

Sorry! You don't know Nigerian medical lecturers. You go suuu uuu fferr to pass eeeeh na u go run sell the car. Nobody send your papa in Nigerian medical school oh.

Better borrow yourself sense and go for something decent if you really need a car.

I have used 7 Hondas and currently using 08 accord V6 but for a first car user get a 2013 Camry SE V6, Honda requires high maintenance culture and little knowledge about the driving components of the car if not you will probably not be able to catch up with the maintenance

I have used both Toyota and Honda, my girlfriend drives the Crosstour. Take it from me that this is the best advice on this thread (Take V4 instead of V6 though for fuel efficiency). I drive the 2013 Camry SE V4, I recommend the V4 instead, It is the car that is best for a first car and still match up the luxury of the cars you mentioned. This car is value for its money and you don't need to be a specialist or need car maintenance experience to use it. The Cross tour has all kinds of issues by the time you've used it for a while, I also had an Accord 2014, It was quite reliable too but I prefer the 2013 Camry SE V4.
