Both the Nigerian mainstream media and social media tend to focus on one particular region and ignore the rest.

Enough is enough.

All those poor village people being kidnapped in Zamfara are transported to Chinese-run illegal gold mines deep in the jungle there. Why do you think no ransom is ever demanded? Why do you also think the states in close proximity also have a high rate of kidnapping?

Africa's suffering will continue for centuries and this is not a curse

I think Yobe state own is because of lack of data. Not because it’s safe.

the funny thing is that a kidnap and ransom payment in the north robs off on the end consumer of their produce, food more often, unlike those in the south.

So the south west has a higher rate of kidnap than the south east, in fact if you go by region the south east has the least rate of kidnap, but you see these ronu people they always try to make it look as if the south east is the most unsafe region in Nigeria, they begin to compare the south east with the north, their hypocrisy stinks, they will come and say why are Igbos leaving the south east, naturally Igbos travel to other places to explore, that is why they say if you go to any place and you don't see an Igbo man, run away from there...

Kidnapping is the biggest growing
Industry in Muslim northern Nigeria and
they are exporting it to other regions of
the country..

The industry is controlled by the deadly
brothers of Buhari and his other associates,
boko haram..

During his time, these perpetrators were
untouchable. But now, Tinubu go touch
them.

Well-done Buhari👏👏👏👏

I have warned people of the south east to stop swallowing every negative news about them. Everyone exaggerates everything happening in the south east. Let’s be wise as Ndigbo.

A lot of farmers in the north have suffered with kidnapping yet it doesn’t make the news. Northern lives should matter too.

But if you follow Nigerian news and social media, you will think the south east is the worst place affected by kidnapping. Anything negative that happens in the south east is over broadcasted. Some people celebrate as if they are having a party just for the chance to taunt igbos.

Yes likely no report available. Because the neighboring states have kidnapping and it’s close to the unstable Sahel region.

If as small as the whole of South East is, and we have such a high number then. There is a very big problem.

if government tells you there are one million kidnapped victims just know there are 2milion. Many kidnapped cases are not not reported in this country because the government are not doing anything. The citizens have lost interest in governance. For instance I was kidnapped last year + in Portharcout but police could not do anything even after promising to help them to track the kidnapper. This is experience i dont ever want to remember
