FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) ON ATIKU’S CHICAGO CASE AGAINST BAT Q: What is the point of Atiku’s case in the USA? A: Atiku’s case in the USA aims to expose the truth surrounding Tinubu’s Certificate/identity controversy and prove to the world that Tinubu is neither constitutionally nor morally qualified to be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Q: Can the PEPT admit new evidence obtained from Atiku’s Chicago Trial? A: There are arguments for and against this. Those who are for invoke the power of the Supreme Court pursuant to the Nigerian constitution to admit evidence under extraneous circumstances in the interest of Justice, if that evidence was such that it could not have been obtained before that material time it is being pleaded and if it is relevant enough for Justice to be dispensed. Those against quote the Electoral act which limits evidence admissible in court to what was pleaded in the petition. However what is not in contention is that the Supreme Court can admit new facts. Therefore any relevant new facts which are discovered in the Chicago case can be referenced and brought to the attention of the court by Atiku’s Legal team and can most definitely influence the outcome of the final Judgement.
