*INAUGURATION: ALAPA CONGRATULATES BENUE COMMISSIONERS, SPECIAL ADVISERS AND SPECIAL ASSISTANTS, CHARGES THEM ON QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY*

Former member representing Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. (Chief) Nelson Alapa, has sent congratulatory messages to all the commissioners, special advisers and special assistants, scheduled to be inaugurated by the executive Governor of Benue State, H.E Rev Father Hyacinth Alia, on Tuesday, 29/08/2023.

Chief Alapa in the congratulatory message, felicitated with the appointees, charging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor by discharging the responsibilities placed on them with patriotism and fear of God.

Alapa, a grassroots politician and true progressive, also enjoined the commissioners and special advisers to take advantage of their exalted offices to contribute generously to the peace, unity and progress of Benue state.

Alapa further reminded the appointees of the huge burden of history that comes with such recognition and urged them not to be carried away by the effervescence of power but to strive to leave behind, footprints of excellence, in their various positions, so that posterity will recall their quality contributions to the development of the state with pride.

The former Deputy Minority leader of the House of Representatives also expressed his optimism that all the appointees possess the qualification and track-record needed to galvanize support for the purposeful leadership of Benue state by the Rev. Father Alia led administration.

In conclusion, Chief Alapa, who once served as the former ex-officio member of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC (the highest position held by the Northcentral zone in the party then), wished them well and prayed for a successful outing in their respective offices.

“This is not time to merry or be carried away by the effervescence of power but a golden opportunity to be part of this historic drive to put Benue state back on the track of growth and development”, - Chief Alapa admonished.
