Commencing from September 9th, 2023, the National Examination Council (NECO) is initiating the registration process for the NECO GCE exams. The registration window will remain open until the stroke of midnight on November 21st, 2023.


For prospective candidates, the registration fee for the NECO GCE 2023 is set at N17,800.

It's important to note that NECO's registration timeline differs from that of other examination boards. The definitive registration deadline for NECO GCE is November 14th, 2023.

Distinguishing itself, NECO offers a provision for late registration after the deadline. However, candidates availing this provision will be subject to a late payment fee of N1,000.


It's important to know that you can sign up late for the exams, but only until the day before you start your tests. Once you've started your exams, you can't change the subjects you picked.
