Requirements To Register For NECO GCE[/b]
To obtain the NECO form for External Students, certain prerequisites must be met. The necessary requirements include:

To register NECO, provide a passport photograph, essential bio data (gender, disability, marital status, maiden name if applicable, date of birth, nationality, and state of origin). Ensure your name is within 40 characters. Select exam subjects, have NGN17,800 for registration, and choose a preferred examination town.

NECO GCE Availiable Subjects for Registration 2024

In the course of registration, students are required to carefully consider their area of specialization and choose a minimum of eight ( subjects. Within their area of specialization, they must select 3 to 4 subjects that align with their chosen field of study. Also students are encouraged to diversify their knowledge by opting for one elective subject outside their specific area of specialization.

The total number of subjects should not exceed nine (9), striking a balance between depth in their chosen field and a broader understanding of other disciplines.

Neco GCE Registration Form 2024

How to Apply for NECO GCE Registration Form
Candidates or registration points, typically cyber cafes, should visit www.neco.gov.ng to create an account using email or phone numbers. Activation is required, and payment is to be made into the NECO TSA through five available options. It’s important to note that the registration fee, once paid, is non-refundable.

Create an Account:

Sign up by navigating to https://ssceexternal.neco.gov.ng/ and selecting the “Register Here” link.
Activate Your Account:

An activation email will be dispatched to you; adhere to the instructions in the email to activate your account. Check your spam folder if needed.
Login:

Access ssceexternal.neco.gov.ng and log in using your registered email and password.
Make Payment:

Upon logging in, proceed to make the necessary payment for the SSCE external examination. Upon successful payment, receive exam and/or four-figure table token(s).

Locate a Registration Point:

To complete registration, visit any of the authorized cybercafe operators’ registration points. Utilize https://operator.neco.gov.ng/ to find a convenient location.

Register Offline:

Provide your details, including pictures, fingerprints, and chosen exam subjects, at the selected cybercafe.

Print Your Photo Card:

Submit your token to upload your data. Once the system verifies the token, receive a photo card containing your registration number and details.

To upload candidates’ data to the NECO portal and obtain examination numbers, candidates must be registered with an online account. Log in to the account and purchase registration tokens (scratch cards are no longer used for SSCE External registration).
