I have this strange feeling that the Tompolo guy who said their own side of the story is the one saying the truth here. I might be wrong though.

I was about saying it's crazy for Nigerian government to give known criminals a contract of protecting oil pipeline but then it occurred to me that MOST Nigerians have criminal tendencies anyway. Even if you put a pastor or prophet or any member of the armed forces in charge of the oil pipeline they will still end up engaging in corrupt activities. At least, Tompolo's security company have been producing some result but they can't be totally trusted.

I hope they have not started their dirty politics with the oil surveillance? Multiple fingers have been pointing the Army and Navy as accomplices to the oil theft in Nigeria. How are sure that this is not stagemanaged?

Instead of government to highly invest that money on state institution to protect our national assets, they are putting the money in the pocket of some criminals. When you go to their base, you will see them training with guns like military.

What the foolish government doesn't ask themselves is, after the contract where will these boys with military trainings and guns go to or what would they be doing after the contract?

This afternoon, it happens that the Navy security initially were parading a wooden vessel loaded with crude oil, after a while, they released the vessel which was fully loaded with crude oil by some oil thieves

This notorious act/display by the Navy officers provoked the Tantita guards in the area to pursue the vessel, which they later succeeded in arresting.

“To our greatest surprise, the owners of the vessel ran away and came back to the scene with some Nigerian Navy officers working at the Dangote Refinery, which resulted in a conflict and finally, the Navy officers attacked my men, later arrested four of the Tantita security guards from Ondo zone, and set free the wooden vessel.”

I know for sure the navy will fight Tompolo back, after the first incident when his men arrested a vessel stealing our crude with the approval of the Nigerian Navy. the Nigerian Navy was InCharge and empowered all through the first 7 years of Buhari tenure and crude oil theft was an all-time high. But when Tompolo was awarded the contract in Gej tenure crude oil theft was an all-time low, now Buhari haven realized his mistake, decided to reaward the correct back to Tompolo and we have seen a sharp decrease in crude oil theft, now this correct military contraception has decided to fight back. going by the account of the Tompolo security agent account, I believe they have more facts than the useless Nigerian Navy.

Navy accused tompolo boys for trying to snatch Engine and ended up escorting stolen crude and was released after a staff of tompolo company came and identified there staff.

For the fact that the Navy personnel came from Dangote refinery to set free the wooden vessel, the story given by the TANTITA supervisor is more believable.
There are many cases of Nigeria Navy setting free arrested crude thieves in the past one year so this might just be an addition to the long list

I swear e no fit better, i knew this when i worked with the NPDC some years ago, around 2019 and i assisted with the help of the Nigerians Army to destroy those illegal crude refining site and to stop the illegal bunkers from stealing our oil and what i found out is that the Nigerian military are so corrupt right now and they are the ones enabling these illegal crude oil thieves. I caught so many of them red handed and i followed them to share in the little bribe we could get, make them nor go fire me for thick forex and claim accidental discharge or say it was the bunkers that shot me. Lol. Funny enough, we've the highly rated and efficient "Eagle Eye" domain that's supposed to monitor our water ways (maybe its AOR covers only the Gulf of Guinea area & not our inland waterways).
