Life itself is a big gamble. That being said, betting isn’t for everyone, especially those who can’t control their impulses. Betting would mess you up if you allow it to control you to the extent of betting heavily/ borrowing money to bet. Rule is to always gamble with what you can afford to lose. In fact, the fun way to gamble is to consider any money you put into a bet as already gone. That way, you wouldn’t keep your hopes on it to change your life. But if someday it does change your life, then good for you.

itz not about 'am i still betting?'

itz a matter of 'have i permanently overcome what takes me there?'

an addiction is what u are self-destructively driven into by being yet to afford something

u are yet to afford or achieve that fun or joy or wealth or sexual pleasure or entertainment or academic goal or whatever it is

then this or that happens or follows, which could be BETTING

however, some wont agree when i say there are different type of risks meaning we all risk everyday in different ways.


the issue is, what is the nature of that risk? what is at stake?
how obvious?

why do SOME poor people also bet?


Well,life is twisted and the world has no programming.


Addiction is never the first problem,neither is it ever the only problem.

While he or she is not doing that thing, how much of material+ professional help is being given?
