Soludo is not Obi.

Obi set the ball rolling, which is allowing Soludo to do this now.

One person cannot build everything in 8 years.

You don't know us umu Anambra. Our second name is competition.
Once we set the goal, watch and see us surmount Lagos.
We LOVE challenges! Competition gives us hard on. cheesy cool

Onitsha will be the flagoff point

Yeah, better to commence all such projects from Onitsha. Make sure all the locality are connected in Onitsha.

When it comes to railway, it is either underground, overground and ground.

Overground is good for densely populated area like onitsha city.

Ground railway is ideal for the outskates of the urban area.

Underground provides good connectivity for the central district or commercial heart of the city.

We got to know exactly what we are doing to get the system right.

You have not fixed up the roads in Anambra State. You are yet to get sanitation securely fixed. You are yet to cover up the drainages in the urban centres and get them properly channelled. It is rail you want to fix!
And roads in states where railway are 100% Otondo

Dont you ever wonder how we get anything done with all the hating and enemies that dont want our progress?

We dont have multiple seaport or deep seaport, yet we are achieving all this feat with none.

Imagine what we will do with a Deep Seaport nearby in Bonny or Standard River ports across SE.

Not to mention electricity. grin

nobody is tryin to stop una in anything....
we are just reactin to una insults at other tribes....

I never said anything about "Overnight".
All I'm saying is that it will happen.
Nigeria and Malaysia and other east Asian countries got independence at same time, but today those Asia countries look like first world countries when compared with Nigeria.
Didn't they surmount Nigeria?

I guess he did not go to China to play.

This should be his legacy project.

We should have solid railway in Anambra state by now.

Let us take transport seriously.
You're right

You are mad!
In fact you are more than mad; you are deranged and completely unhinged!
Where is it implied in my comment that all the roads in the state must be fixed before a major project like rail system can be initiated?
I doubt if you live in Anambra State because if you do, you would have known that there is crisis in the road infrastructure of the state. This is a reality that cannot be denied. Nnewi alone has near total collapse in road infrastructure. Go to Nnewi and see things for yourself.
I won't even mention Onitsha, Ihiala, Awada, Ogidi and many other towns.

It is called COMPETITION, and that is why I said that Anambra people eat, breathe, bath, and are COMPETITION themselves.
The fact that Anambra is the way it is today (after existing for less than 40 years) is nothing short of a miracle.
Lagos has been there for eons of years.
But the most important point to keep in mind is that a SIGNIFICANT percentage of the money developing Anambra today is denying Lagos development, because it is Igbo people relocating their wealth.
So, yes, Lagos will stand still while we relocate. cool

You have no idea what development is all about.

U think it is all about putting concrete everywhere.

Wait Soludo complete his tenure, and see how far we travelled since Obi.

He is only the third man yet.

We shall see how it pans out.
It is not by mere pronouncements.
Action speaks louder than words.
And talking about hate, you are clearly evil for saying such a thing.
You need to check yourself very well lest you get choked by the bitterness in your heart.

There are tons and tons of work begging for attention in Anambra State.
A rail system is good as public utility.
Yet it is not a priority of a government which has not even done a quarter of the huge work it is faced with.
Some roads in the state are already cut into two by gullies. Some places are already inaccessible. So many places are partially covered in a sea of mud and dirt. And you this slowpoke are here splashing your saliva so profusely in misplaced zeal for an egoistic project of a government that has not got its priorities right.
Are you the contractor?
Perhaps, you are in the team.
Perhaps, it is another job for the boys.
And that's why you are here bleating like a dying goat in defense of the purse!
