To check-mate corrupt officers, giving of bribes to the police should not be illegal but taking it should. This would give the giver the avenue to report the taker. As the giving and taking are both crimes, nobody makes reports. Let's make senseble laws, favourable to the citinzery, not laws that unduly punish the innocents and aid corrupt officers. |
