Collapse and merge all the Identity Number (Passport No., NIN, BVN, Voter Identity) into one and avoid these unnecessary stress, expenses on the side of the Government and the Citizens. It's that simple in a sane, organized and progressive society.

It is not, anything related to identity should be under ministry of interior.

Ministry of communication and digital economy should be handling hi tec digital innovations and not producing and reproducing ID cards

That's true

Since 2014 after registering for my NIC, I only have the temporary card. And to work on our permanent plastic ID card and give us become the problem of those in charge of it. It's a pity. We have a lot of hardworking Nigerians that are ready to work and turn around things in these ministries but they never allow us to get to the place. Even all their job vacancies never made public. They always do their recruitment underground and put their children and relatives there. Not even minding if they are competent or not for the task.
