$1.2b Brazil Loan:  PDP Taunts Buhari Over Reckless Borrowing...Urges President Not to Reduce Nigeria to a Beggar Nation

The @OfficialPDPNig is alarmed by fresh plans by President @MBuhari to further mortgage our nation through an additional $1.2 billion loan from Brazil despite the public outcry against the accumulation of loans from China and other foreign interests.

The PDP cautions the @MBuhari Presidency not to further weaken our nation and using nebulous agricultural programmes as justification for further accumulation of foreign loans, without clear terms and conditions, to the detriment of the poor masses and generations yet unborn.

The party further warns that the loan request, if approved by the @nassnigeria, will exacerbate our nation’s debt burden, mortgage our agricultural sector, weaken our investment capacity and worsen our food security challenge.

Our party invites Nigerians to note that with the $1.2 billion (N459 billion) Brazilian loan, in addition to the N5.20 trillion borrowing already proposed in the 2021 budget, our nation’s debt burden will hit a disastrous N36.2 trillion which will plunge our economy into a devastating pitfall.

The @OfficialPDPNig therefore urges the @nassnigeria to save the nation by being circumspect in handling the loan request in the national interest.

Instead of this recourse to reckless borrowings, the @OfficialPDPNig urges the @MBuhari Presidency to apply itself productively by looking inwards and finding ways to harness and create wealth with the resources abounding in our country.

What Nigeria needs now is for government to be more innovative and resourceful in galvanizing a productive economy instead of reducing our nation to a beggar status among the comity of nations.

Okay...

What Nigeria is in dire need of are Mavericks in the field of economics and a good, competent leader. The nation is malnourished of people of vision and service.

I'm not a prophet, but the rate at which the borrowing is going might make Nigeria a Colony of foreign Masters.

Perhaps Buhari and his cohorts are trying to break the record for the president with the most debts or maybe they just want to run the country down once and for all and elope, leaving the coming generation with a negative account and decades of slavery in the form of debt servicing.

Slavery may be over, but this deliberate attempt to mortgage the future of the country is worse than slavery...

How these mumu politicians think we still don't know. Rather than borrow money all the time, why not slash the senators monthly take home by half and see if we won't be lending money to Ghana.
As for aishas husband sell the country finish and remember to collect receipts ok.

A clear example of inexperienced/incompetent corrupt myopic leaders. Who lack foresight and are misguided by their sheer greed.
The current leaders have plunged the nation into a state of jeopardy and with no clear view on the way forward, its a pity to say Nigeria is headed to a state of Penury.
They make move to borrow money and mortgage our national assets for infrastructures which will yield no profit to the national economy. In execution of those infrastructures, looting and stealing by their appointees/awardees of contracts.
We seek again to borrow, we all failed ourselves when we seeked a no certificate holder in the presence of a Ph.d holder.
I mean we could have done better for ourselves, they were other intellectuals who we could have thrown our support to. Blinded by hate, bigotry, ethnicism and hunger.

We all wail. Naira has devalued and heading for the third recession. Borders are closed. Construction of rail line from Niger border down to Nigeria which offers no economic and national value.

A lot to say about this Shithole and messed up country.

***These are their Strategies***
Make it hard for the next incumbent president if we dont win(clearly we have failed) he spends most of the time paying of foreign and domestic debts. We make him appear incompetent as he can't be able to achieve what he wanted, the masses will hate him.
We come back again and make comparisons then he had cleared our debts for us and we reloot.

The cycle continues. I only preach extermination.
Extermination is the only remedy to this our plague.

Are we surprised? A very daft man....someone who doesn't know the mechanics of economics. He doesn't have ordinary certificates, haven't written a book in his life, have never delivered any intellectual speech in a business or academic fora.
A man whose only known achievements is being a soldier, coupist and religious bigot can never lead this country of over 100 million intellectually active citizens.

It will never be well with all those who deceived us and sold this dummy as president.
Amaechi who bought his form, Tinubu who went into alliance because of his greed, Sowore who told countless lies against the past administration, Dino Melaye who ran his mouth like diarrhoea, Saraki who campaigned, Atiku who stupidly agreed out of greed, Rochas who betrayed his party, Oshiomole who out his wickedness and Lai Mohammed who made so many abracadabra by changing white to black and black to blue.....

God will punish all of you one by one.
