Late singer and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka MohBad, has appeared on Times Square’s billboard in New York.

Clips of his feature on the Times Square billboard displayed on Broadway Times Square, New York City, have surfaced online.

Mohbad’s postmortem appearance qualifies him to join the league of top Nigerian celebrities like Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Tems and others who’ve been featured on New York Times Square’s billboard.

The Imole’s billboard message reads: “Will be remembered forever, Mohbad. Legends are never forgotten. R.I.P.”

Recall that the 27-year-old singer had his last breath on the 12 of September 2023 and was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos State, the next day.

The death of the popular had stirred reaction across the board, with Nigerians accusing his former boss, Naira Marley and music promoter, Sam Larry, of being responsible for his death.

This prompted Nigerians to call for justice, while others have taken to the streets in Lagos, Ogun and other parts of the country, urging the police to fish out his killers.

The acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, after Mohbad’s death, ordered a forensic investigation to unravel the cause of the demise.

Following the IGP’s directive, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, formed a ten-man team, including a pathologist, to exhume and investigate Mohbad’s death.

I just dey hear some of his songs on streets and FM radio stations without actually knowing who sang it not until his death.

What is the value of dignity and fame and this sort of thing to a dead person? I am a Christian and Jesus said the the least in the kingdom of God is greater then the greatest person on earth, to die is not the big deal, the big deal is what happens after death, anyone who decides to kill anyone is going to eventually die one day too anyways, vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. The biggest fool is the one that thinks that killing another person will solve his problems, meanwhile, there is no difference between a murderer and a liar and a fornicator, or other forms of wickedness, if anybin this group die without making peace with God through Jesus, they will end up in the same hell, there is no different hell for the murderer and the common liar, accept if you like, the truth is always very bitter

Night making waves after death. As in if you hear his stories and how humble he is walahi you will mourn him. I got to love you more after death, just like his late best friend DABLIXX OSHA, they died a year apart in same way buy like his name he shown light unlike dablixx that justice wasn't fought for.
