I think rather than patriotism, I would prefer to narrow it down to nationalistic in outlook. The most nationalistic president we've had would have to be Obasanjo, closely followed by Yar'Adua.

The likes of IBB and Abacha could also be seen as relatively nationalistic, in spite of their repressive or corrupt tendencies.

The least nationalistic (and by extension, the most tribalistic) we have ever had is a straight tie between Buhari and this despicable thing they call Tinubu. Both are hopelessly sectional, tribalism propelled and fuelled by noxious ethnocentrism, and should have no business in national politics.
