The day Nigeria unites against bad leadership, a new Nigeria will spring forth. They loot everything without fear of accountability. While we’re told to pray for the country, their kids are citizens of first world countries. Until everybody sees beyond tribe, we shall remain stagnant. Sorry, we’re worse than stagnant at the moment
Good leadership starts from state not federal.

Nigeria can never unite
The North will always bring religious sentiments
The west will come with their tribal wahala

I don't get why Nigerians reward failures with more opportunity to fail again.
Tribalism have destroyed everything in Nigeria and kept Nigerians in perpetual servitude, the exact reason these failures reenforces it through every election to remain relevant and continue to hold power.

Nothing works here.... We need a radical redirection

We are having the redirection already!

Policies always foreshadow a bright future, but the question is how to implement them. Otherwise, they won't have any effect, just like the moon in the water—visible but out of reach.

APC has been in power for 8 years. Eight years is enough time to correct any error with political will. You people would rather die than admit failure. Stop with excuses please.

Don't lose heart, take a long-term view. One year, ten years, or even a hundred years, there are always more solutions than difficulties.

The greatest mistake Nigeria ever made was returning APC to power... You dont reward failure even if na your own person do am

Now the entire economy is in shambles and the present government looks overwhelmed already

Hmmm
Nobody returned them. They held on to it.

That figure I am seeing up there will build renewable power system that is far more than 5000MW in peak capacity, has very little recurrent expense attached, predictable, and cleaner.

The lack of political will to ditch corruption riddled assets in favour of newer cleaner and cheaper ones is what I see here. Some secret clique have held the destiny of our assets down and the way out may be to build entirely new ones that will force such hands off those old assets. If there was a 5000MW solar or wind farm somewhere, these gas fired plants will be better run.

Same mistake OBJ, Yar'adua and GEJ made by not starting a mega refinery like Dangote's is what we are currently making. Simply switch to renewables and watch those bureaucratic demons hands off.

You are a born hypocrite. How can you type slow and steady when it's obvious we are moving backwards at alarming speed power wise?

That you support any party doesn't mean you can't condemn obvious failures and misappropriation when it hits you in the eyes..

You try to portray a statesman that want Nigeria to thrive but subtly condone corruption once it's carried out by elements you share same socio cultural sentiments with.

This country can't move an inch with people like you deceiving the youths

10 years after, we are feeling the effects of that action.

5000mw?

Lagos alone needs 10000 mw for 24/7 power.

Corruption has messed up the power sector, but all in all, the main issue is that subsidy and the price controls inherent in maintaining a subsidy

Deregulate the power sector, prosecute power thieves and provide a meter for all, and we might get somewhere

I don't understand Nigerians. How could this be achieved if billions is wasted on feul subsidy to the neglect of other sectors?
The railway projects and many other under Buhari were funded by loans.
How can you say Tinubu should continue this way and still expect any changes?
I am not attacking you for your comment just to give a little perspective as to why nothing seems to work.
