An Honest Opinions To President Tinubu:👇
-Your Excellency,Sir,I offer this opinion,not as a partisan Politician but a Nigerian that goes to the Market and feel the People's impulse daily, weekly and monthly too!
When you came,we gave you all the Support and believing that you will not be like the ways of the Other Past- govt-who don't listen to those outside the govt because of the Political patronages they will receive,so we still believes your govt is actively working on the followings:
1. Removal of Subsidies:
- While declaring that ' there is no Subsidies in this Budget handed over to me ' on May 29,2023, and that Subsidies are gone but don't forget that - this Oil - is the Lifewire of everything in Nigeria- the Workers,the Masses,the Markets,the Public,the Families,etc.
-So,the Fuel Prices have moved from N234- to N600+ till date- meaning,the Prices of goods and Services have moved up astronomically too, without any Control,even Students School Fees- for Public and Private Schools- including Universities have gone up!
- If Subsidies on Oil'is removed- how do we the Masses adjust,when there is nothing on the ground to fall on?
For we are aware of your N 2-5 Billions being said to be given as Palliatives to the States govt but we can't see or feel it!
2. Tell Nigerians Now, what are the New Salaries Wage- because by now,we should know - don't Assume that people should understand.
• If you do that today,the agitation by Labour Union- NLC and TUC,will reduce but this New Salary should be - Realistic,Generally agreed and must be Immediate,for it was 30K as wages before now!
• Don't fall into the Labour Union traps
of going on Strike because,once this ' Total Strike ' succeed,then People will begin to loose Confident in your govt.
-Call the Union Leaders and address them personally - in a- round- Table discussions - as a President and Father of all and tell them and the People as well- what you want to pay and Pay it Now before is too late- for delay is dangerous!
• Don't allow Opposition to hyjack the Labour Leaders good intentions of -fighting for the Nigerian Workers interests!
(3)-Since you are the Petroleum Minister-
-So how much do Nigeria have now? or how Much have your govt Saved from the Subsidies removal?Let it be known to average Nigerians,for Accountabilities sake!
- How Much have you paid the States govts
of Subsidies Money ?
Many States-have nothing on the around to reduced the Suffering that Nigerians are going through right now,with the Palliatives nowhere to be found and is being Pocketed by the States govt.
While some States like Lagos State- reduces the Cost of Transportation like in BRT and New Railways- InterCity Transportation- which is good but what about the Citizens Pockets,?
4- The Foods Prices are out of reach for Ordinary People because of the Subsidies Removal.
I do go to the Market,a Bag of Rice is N43- 46,000- depending on the types but Before now,it was N32- 34,000!
•Solutions- Allow Importations of Basic Food items , especially the Rice- which is now a Staple -Food- for the Next- 2-yrs,since We are Not Producing enough to cater for over 200-Millions NIGERIANS!
- also, the Bread which used to be a Staple-Food-for all Nigerians is being displaced by the hike in the Price- due to Ukraine/ Russian War - which is out of Control for African in general and Nigeria in particular!
•Based on the above- most of the Areas of Food Productions have been destabilised by the Terrorists/ Bokoharam- accross Nigeria!
- The Anchor Borrowers Money/ Loans running to N Trillions- have been syphoned by the Former CBN - Management- for so many Farmers -who were Original in their requests for this Loan Facilities are not paid but fake People got the Money, through Manipulated -and now Nigerians are suffering and without Foods or Agriculture Products because of Corruption!
- for a hungry man an angry-man, please,do something about the Skyrocketing Food Prices -because of the Hyper -Inflation in the Society and the Short-term approach is to Allow Massive Importations of Food Items and by so doing reduced groaning of the People!
5• The Long Term Approaches -3yrs above is:-
- declare Food Supplies Emergency in Nigeria by conveying All Farmers Stakeholders Meetings- through Farmers Co- Operatives all over Nigeria!
Every Farmers is known through their Cooperatives Leaders- who knows them and they also know the Farms of the Farmers.
• Nigeria is Big Enough To Feed Africa!
- Our Security Agents should be up and doing- be Patriotic to ensure the Safety of Nigerians and their Families, Communities and Properties!
- Minister of Agriculture- we are yet to hear or know his Plans .e g - Have you had Famers Meetings?
-what is he bring to the - Table for the People?
-what are his New Initiatives to make Agric- Sector admirable for Young Nigerians and Foreigners to move or Venture into?
- What are the Credit Facilities available to Farmers- to Start- Jump this Sector-because, without it,many Youths and even Old Farmers- would shun it,as Agriculture is Capital Intensive and lots of Money is highly needed in Agric!
- how do you Preserved the Surplus of Agric Products?
• A Loan Facilities should not be more than a Single -- Interest Rates e.g 4-7,,% by the Banks. But the Banks in Nigeria are Shylock,as many are charging Interest Rates of 15- to 27% for businesses!
These Banks are killing the Nigeria businesses because the Interest Rates payments will surpasses the Principal Amount and that is not good for Businesses in Nigeria.
* Govt should intervene and discuss with the Banks CEOS or launch an Agricultural Banks for this Purpose!
• What about the Entrepreneurs Development BANK recommended by AfDB- by Dr Adedeji?
•for we cannot leave Everything to the Market Forces to Control- even in Britain,you have Price Regulations and Control!
-Most of the Loan Facilities abroad are less than 2% e g .Europe and the reason is to allow Cheap Food Production for the Masses!
-Can we get this as we declared Nigeria Agricultural Revolutions - in different Sub- Sectors like- Catfish Production, Animals Rearing, Chicken Productions,Rice Productions,Cassava Productions,Cocoa Productions, Cotton-Industry,etc.
- For example,Ivory Coast ( now Coate-devore,) has only Coffee- as their Export-for Foreign Exchange,so why can't we do it here - to Divesify from Oil in Nigeria!
6-Declare- Your Industilisation -Plans for Nigeria: -We don' t know it,as most Ministers are yet to come out to tell Nigerians-what are their Plans for this Country,but with a very Few Exceptions- like Hon Wike,Tunji- Ojo,Hon Umahi,Beta- Edu,and few others- what of others ,we don't hear of their Ministries and Depts ( MIDAS)? Most of them should address Nigerians on what they want to do differently!
i- There should be 354- Days Regular Lights I'll over NIGERIA! If you get Light regularly, Constantly,then •60% of Nigeria Problems will be resolved,if we get this Sector dolved- as virtually everything is attached to the Light/ Power Sector!
-Nigerians wants to know- what the Minister of Power- is doing to arrest so many things in his Department here- because -no New Transformers,no Prepaid Meters distribution- but more of breakdowns of Grid!
Honestly,Nigerians are tired of this Old- Story since the ECN,NEPA ,PHCN- days!
•There should be drastically Power/ Energy Bank Establishment- to drive Power Sector in Nigeria!
ii- Allow Tax Holidays of 3- yrs and above for New- Industies into Nigeria to allow Millions of Youths- go Back -To -Work ,e g - the Dunlop,the Michelling Industry,the Atlas Clothing and Aswani Clothing Productions- by Oshodi, in Lagos have are gone since and many like that!
-These Industries left Nigeria because of hash economic - for when the Clothes they Import is Cheaper,these local Companies runs out business
- when there is No Power or Lights and Diesel to run the business is expensive,they have no choice than to move to Neighboring Countries but yet Nigeria has the Market,huge enough to accommodate all,just like China and India have the Market!
•So, what are your Revitalisation- Plans - for Agric,Steel,Major Industries- like Cocoa, Cotton, Petroleum,Petro- Chemical/ Engineering Industrialization-, Manufacturing Sectors,etc.?
7• What is the Situation concerning the 4- Refineries in Nigeria?
We were told by December,2- of the Refineries should be Functional,so we don't need to wait for Dangote Refineries- which is Private, anyway!
If we still Imports our Fuels,then how can we say that Subsidies have hone,so how is the Fuel Importers geting the Fuel to Nigeria?
- Nigerians today, are not same as 10 -years ago, because they are more Mobile- as you can see Japa- Syndromes everywhere and they are skilled Labours- trying to Survive,so what do you have for these over 30% Youths,who are searching for Survivals on daily basis?
•Govt( Federal,States and Local , should and MUST DO SOMETHING- afterall,govt is the Creator of Business Environment and Possibly, the largest Employers of Labour e. g . if today ,you decides to Construct the 4th-Lagos Mainland Bridge - running through Ikorodu- to - Langbasa - and Ikoyi- Lekki,over 5- Millions Jobs is guarranteed- through Direct and Indirect Employments by Companies - in Construction Industries and Allied Services/ Supply Chains,Welders,Capenters,Cement Workers,Banks- Fund Supplies,Granite Suppliers,Food Vendors,etc for the Period of the Job.That is how to reduced Employmens!
Obama did it in USA,Modi is doing it in India- 1.4 Billions People.
•Asiwaju, as President of this Country now,you can lay that Great Industrial Growth Plans today and the People,even the Masses will remembered you for life!,as four years is around the corner!
•Jakande did it in 4- yrs in Lagos then,with tremendous Success in Health,Housing, Education,Roads, Industrial growths,etc,!
• Mr President, you have started well,you can do it , with the Calibre of the Ministers you have and any one not moving the way , because of the Urgency to attached to your Mission to get Nigeria-out of the Woods,then just replace them!
•Let People see what your govt is doing,even by announcing them on CNN and other Media,- Ghana is doing that now and then,to portrayed their Country Images.

They were taken to court over the increase in fuel to 500 naira and the court order for both parties to remain status quo the FG has since increased fuel two times over so the court injunction won’t hold
