Nbote: You said it all, the fear of the NLC, TUC and ASUU strike is pressing their necks. This man is not prepared at all but his supporters will believe otherwise, a bag of rice is now between 50k to 62k depending of the quality you are buying, if you pay extra 35k to FG workers, what of states and LGA workers? What the small scale enterprises who buys from the same market as the FG workers? Even medium scale enterprises are not left out, inflation is high already, cost of running businesses has gone higher. The have finally grounded this country and no one is doing anything. 1 Like |

Islie: Abeg na only treasure-workers dey work for Nigeria government what of states? These FG is indirectly trying to bribe the front liners. Tinubu should just approve minimum wage for 6 months simple. When he was removing subsidy, he didn't think about it nor did he consult anybody. |

Nbote: Unprepared? Do you mean subsidy should continue? If it continues, we should continue to borrow money to pay subsidy and protect naira? Which money do you need to pay salaries and improve infrastructures? Just keep borrowing and borrowing till we die finish? |

Does it mean that strike is the only voice that reaches the ears of this government? Despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth of most Nigerian the government kept mute until Labor threatened her with strike before it responses. What is the fate of a Nigerian that is not a FG worker? I call on FG to wholistically address the matter because this thing affect everybody. |

Islie: This is MADNESS. NLC is not fighting the govt. to empower the farmers and create room for abundant food. Less than 7% of the population are civil servants. So what happens to the remaining we 93% ? Now see what happens. All goods and commodities would increase in price astronomically far beyond what they get. Transport cost gonna increase In few times, before the govt balances to the amount paid, NLC gonna come asking for more. Schools and Education gonna be more expensive. This money was most probably removed from a quarter and that quarter gonna suffer. The money could not have been safe somewhere before |

Nbote:You forgot to add that the legitimately self-employed ones are suffocated by the govt, only the fraudulent ones are thriving. I fear for the youths because they don't actually know how deep a mess Nigerian has been plunged into. By the time they will realise it, the carcass will just crumble one day. Na the carcass the politicians dey ravage now if una no know. |

jumper524: Nigerians sha! Everybody's acting like they don't know the solution. The thieves in the government are the reason for the inflation. The solution to the suffering is for government to cut down on waste and invest in the labour market and agriculture but our capitalists will not have it. They'd rather ask you poor proletariat to suffer some more. |

Kunlesina: Haba! Your self esteem is so low that someone doing the least is good enough for you. You're weak. The interest of the political elites at heart you mean? The first place Tinubu turned to to look for money is from the already poverty-stricken masses by removing subsidy despite the several oil thieving allegations in Buhari's govt. He didn't even do oju aye and act like he'll go after them. Tinubu is not the leader Nigeria needs ever, neither is Peter Obi. We must all become leaders in our own way by organising, resetting the values and deciding how we want the country to be. Follow Movement Of The People on Instagram for more information. 1 Like |

Taylor92: Tinubu never owed workers before as gov unlike your mentor, Peter Obi, that owed doctors on strike for 8 months plus. Obi is still alive go and ask him if I dey lie. Someone that couldn't pay ordinary Anambra workers salary for months is being compared to Tinubu that has never owed salaries or pension. Obi that couldn't deliver at a micro level is crying stollen mandate at a macro level. |
