Foolish talk!
Dollar is 1,000 Naira and you describe that as ''crash''?
You must be one of the people hired to hype this useless government.

It is a crash bro, a devaluation. Isn't it a devaluation,

This government is failing on all fronts
Failing? Apc has destroyed this country! The current gov has come to finally finish it.
How much was $$ when these charlatans came in? 180. Buhari left it at 750, the new fellow in less than 5 months has taken it to 1k! No be juju be that? At this rate, what will happen in 1 year? Pounds that was 240 for 16 years of PDP is now 1250!
We thought it was bad Nigerians could not afford brand new cars, something before, you get a mint Honda civic for 3.5m, now close to 30m brand new. We paid deposit and 45k monthly to service the loan payments. Now even 600k monthly cannot service car loan of that same civic.
Now, even accidented vehhicles are out of the reach of ordinary Nigerians.
My paddy who was owed money 8 years ago in Naira was owed 45m, then valued at roughly $300k. He won the money finally through legal means, today the money is usless, it is now worth a mere $40k!
The sad thing is that people still praise and worship their oppressors for tribal or party reasons

Yeahh. You cant get the C300 anywhere for 2M.
Op is actually reffering to Nigeria used. Notwithstanding, they can't can't Nigeria used c300 for the price.

However there are some nice second hand cars you can get for around 2M
Like Corolla (Bolt spec, 2004 model).
Camry big for nothing,
Benz w203

These Nigeria used cars at those prices are quite reliable.
But is it better to buy a Nigerian used corolla for instance than a tokunbor 1999 car? Because I've bought one very clean new looking Sharon that almost took my life. The day I sold that car I almost celebrated the relief.

That Mercedes cost 8Million direct Tokunbo, except for Nigeria old used.

Dollar crash abi, first news I red today. You made me jump up to the news and raised my heart beat.
For this, may the writer never get money to buy Christmas Rice this year.

Also, I don't plan to buy a car until 2026 "by the grace of God"

I have my reasons......

It's only stupid people that would celebrate this. Car someone buys when dollars was 900/naira would definitely have an increase in price since dollars is now 1k/ naira, coupled with the levies, there might not be a significant change in prices of used cars

I don't think a Sharon would be as reliable as a Corolla. I don't think the Sharon would have original spare parts in the market as the Corolla would have.

Yeah, a nigerian-used Corolla of 2004 to 2007 can be as reliable as a tokunbor 1999car, depending on how clean it is. Especially the Engine&Transmission.

Besides it's reliability, the beauty and class matters to me.

Wonderful. So you don't know that 2M can get you several types of Mercedes Nigeria used from 2005?

The w203, the one called GROUNDNUT EYE.

The Eclass of 2001 to 2007models. Very very clean one Nigeria used.

The early M Class and ML Class. Confirmed.

The parts of Benz are stronger than Toyotas.

Just that the electronic sides are more complicated.

Also the parts of old Benz are currently 2 times cleaper than Toyotas of same years.
