INEC Nigeria @inecnigeria

INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION

PRESS RELEASE

THE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION PETITION CASE IN KANO STATE

The attention of the Commission has been drawn to media reports based on a letter written by the Legal Officer of our Kano State office indicating that the Commission had withdrawn from the appeal process in the ongoing Kano Governorship election petition case.

We wish to state categorically that the letter was not authorised. It has since been withdrawn and the officer reprimanded.

The public is therefore advised to discountenance the insinuation that the Commission has withdrawn from the case or even worse abandoned the appeal.

We wish to state categorically that where litigants join INEC in a case, the Commission is under obligation to respond accordingly. We have therefore instructed our lawyers to proceed in line with extant policy of the Commission. The policy has not changed.

National Commissioner & Chairman,
Information and Voter Education Committee

There wouldn't be any need for INEC to be joined into any case if it were truly an unbiased electoral umpire.

Lol

The fear of backlash has made them retract.

I wonder what the fools that were defending their initial decision will say now?

Idiots that have no brain of theirs but to follow bandwagon and try to justify whatever bullshit that Tinubu or any of his criminals does.

Foolish Ndi ala!

INEC as an elcttoral institution has shown much of our value system we have lost.
A people who have lost their value system often face a range of challenges and consequences. A value system provides a set of moral, ethical, and cultural guidelines that shape individuals' behavior and decisions within a society. When a society or community experiences a breakdown or erosion of its value system, several issues may arise:

1. Moral Confusion: Without a clear value system, individuals may struggle to distinguish right from wrong, leading to moral ambiguity and ethical dilemmas.
2. Social Disintegration: A loss of shared values can weaken social cohesion and lead to increased division and conflict within the community.
3. Erosion of Trust: Trust among individuals and institutions can erode when people no longer share common value system.
INEC and almost other public institutions in the country has totally eroded our trust in the governance system of our country, the end result may be too dangerous to centend with it nothing is done about this brazen stupidity being displayed daily.

Some people get mind sha.

They'll just sit somewhere, concoct a news, even produce fake evidence and start spreading it just to heat up the body polity.

They already know the audience they are addressing will swallow anything hook, line, sinker without bothering to verify.
