There's nothing barbaric about the tradition. You are free to allow others to cohabit with your daughter(s) and, have children with them without paying the native dowry. Every tribe in Africa collects dowry as a legal intrument concretising every traditional marriage ceremony before a woman can be said to be truly married. I don't know where You're from and would like to know which part of the country you are from to enable members have access to your women free without paying the dowry. Your tribalism wouldn't make you see reason. BTW, why did the so called prophet who lives in Yorubaland, avoided marrying his tribeswoman rather than going for an Igbowoman?
