On normal circumstances, when a leader is sick or want to undergo surgery, he will resign temporarily and hand over to his deputy while another deputy is appointed.
If he is fit to come back and resume, he tenders his letter and come back. They all do it abroad, but not an African leader.
He has been away since April, his wife wanted to be controlling affairs but the deputy didn't agree. They were afraid of the deputy to take over, so he rushed back, his first assignment was to make moves to impeach the deputy but that one went to Court. He is back to his sick bed now. The state has no functional Governor. He is old and sick, he should resign and go and rest.
