My Heartbeat
In shadows deep where darkness crept,
You came, a light- my soul you swept.
When life's cruel grip would hold me tight,
Your love would shine, a beacon in the night.
You saved me from the abyss's roar,
Each time my heart could bear no more.
With gentle words and hands so kind,
You pulled me back into peace of mind.
In your embrace, I found my home,
A sanctuary where I could finally roam.
Your laughter; a medicine like a melody,
Bringing life and light to everything I see
You are my rock, my guiding star,
In every moment, whether near or far.
Without you, I can't imagine who I'd be,
You are the heartbeat inside of me.
I cannot fathom two lives apart,
For you're the rhythm of my heart.
In your love, I've found my truth,
My endless joy, my eternal youth.
So here I stand, with words so true,
To say, my love, how much I do.
You are my everything, my night and day,
Forever and always, in every single way.
