It's NO surprise that the court would discharge and acquit these Biafrans that were unjustly arrested on trumped up charges of terrorism. It bugles the mind that a country that is signatory to all these international treaties that allow citizens' rights to self determination would violate the tenets of the treaties. A citizen's exercise of his right to self determination is NEVER a call for war. Only in Nigeria is that a sacrilege. In civilized societies, it is totally the opposite. They would hold a referendum and allow the citizens to determine their fate. You can't force a people to be in a union that's not conducive for them especially when the union is detrimental to their survival as a people. The sad part and the hypocrisy of it all is that the same UK that's behind the averse attitude towards a referendum and eventual break up of Nigeria, held a referendum in order to break away from the European Union (EU). No EU member state objected to UK leaving the union, so why is it an anathema for Biafra to hold a referendum and decide if it wants to still be part of Nigeria? Let us also remember that marriage is NOT by force and that's the reason there's a divorce if and when it does NOT work out between the parties. Nigeria needs to break up in order to save lives!!! |

Akerele44: So Hush puppy is Igbo also. Your foolishness is making me laugh. Do you know that Ogun state was ranked by the Nigerian police with having the most ritual killing report in Nigeria. You better wake up and see your true enemy, Igbos have never hated Yorubas, it's your jealousy for Igbos that has caused your hate. But we still like you guys anyways. Hustle your own make Igbos too dey jealous, abeg. Everyday nah igbo this, Igbo that |
