wolesmile:
The main difference between a grant and a loan is repayment. A loan requires you to repay the money you borrow, whereas a grant does not. Grants are, essentially, a gift. In other words, they're non-repayable.

People should understand this before commenting that they've gone to borrow again.
Whether it's repayable or not, we all know that this money will have the same fate like other borrowed ones.😂

€1 million grant?

These white people are really nice.

Someone will cough up that sum and another idiot in Nigeria will squander the money.

If we were sensible in this country, corrupt politicians would be made to undergo harakiri.

For grants? I doubt it... the money will be sent to FG account and will still be monitored by the EU... nobody can tiff 1 naira out of that money as he dey so...

It's for a specific project, and Nigeria must show thr results

I’m sure that they’re already shopping for 2023 SUV’s and hilux as we speak in the name of project vehicles. A country without any secure state within its borders is talking about Nuclear Power.
I remember when there was a mini nuclear reactor in ABU, Zaria. When Bokoharam started their nonsense, it was moved to Ghana and that was the end of the story. A crying shame.
