Watkins is young and still has ways to go just like Rashford, Evans Ferguson, and others.

Toney has more experience and more goal sense... Don't underestimate him because he is in Brentford.

For a team that is in no hurry, and can afford time, Watkins is better... But for more immediate results, Toney is it for me.

Mbape would be regretting now why he did not join Madrid. He would have surely excelled at Madrid , but jude has now taken the shine. Just see what ego and quest for power has caused him

Ancelotti got it wrong starting Kroos as a DLP in front of defense and playing Tchouameni out of position upfield like an RCM and Bellingham like LCM (made it easier for Gabi to stay close). It was a bad mix of a diamond and a box midfield for Madrid when Kroos was on the pitch

Madrid only became effective when Kroos was taken off and players went back to their more natural position - Tchouameni as DM, Jude as AM, and Modric coming on as LCM but with license to roam.

Carlo has to learn that the current best XI for Madrid has no place for Modric nor Kroos. Playing other players out of position to force fit those old war horses has been the problem since last year.

Alaba, Rudiger, Carvahal, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Bellingham, and Vinicius - should be the first names on the sheet. Only question should be which two of Mendy, Rodrygo and Joselu should be added. Kroos and Modric should be subs unless injury and/or suspension necessitate otherwise

Madrid dodged a bullet with Mbappe. It is impossible to fit him into the same XI with Vinny and remain balanced.

What they need is a true #9 like Vlahovic and to revert back to 4-3-3 with Bellingham as the LCM, Valverde as RCM, Tchouameni as DM and Camavinga as LB.
