That's where IGR comes in. The SW has the highest IGR even without Lagos. It's the more self reliant as it knows how to generate income than the regions..

Are you sure if you remove Lagos that the SW has the highest IGR. Do you have figures to back your claims?

The South South produces the resources that sustain the country so, you cannot say they are dependent on FAAC.

Why don't you let each state manage their resources and then pay a percentage as tax to the federal government? Then can we know the true states that are dependent on FAAC.

So, as long as their resources are shared amongst all states of the federation, the South South states are not dependent but, sustaining the nation.

The major problem of the South South states has always been wrong leaders who know nothing about development.

How do faac gets the money they share every year if not from oil from the south south?

Let's go on true federalism and see the zone that will do better

Every state should be entitled to seventy five percent of their resources.
The remaining twenty five percent should be paid to federation account then be shared by all states.

They pay the highest tax in this country.

Ask ur parent to show u their tax clearance which I am sure they don't have but that illiterate igbo guy out there has numerous tax clearance certificates which shows that, they are the reasons why Nigeria is still viable.

60% of all imports goes to the south east that is Onitsha and Aba.

Next time talk with facts...in this country, with ur so called imaginary igr,the igbos live better and a better living condition than the entire western region.

South South will depend on allocation as long as they want because 90% of it belongs to them, it's their property.

The SouthWest is the least parasitic region in Nigeria.

Not arguing. What you stated is facts. Many lazy states and Governors abound.

Very stupid report. South South should depend on allocation coming from other regions when 90% of the allocation belongs to them.

All these statistics is totally useless and not reliable until the nigerian state is properly restructured where every region will be in control of their natural resources, maritime and aviation sectors.

But when you come to the region. You would see poverty in 3D ravaging the socalled indigenes while immigrant growing fat.
Fact check: The immigrants are responsible for the IGR
