Quodseverismete:
Mere verbal decleration without concrete action on ground will amount to nothing. A kg of gas is now #1200 in my place because the demand on petrol has been shifted to gas that is being used by almost all households.
Kerosene is #1300, desiel is #1150. APC has destroyed everything.

I remember when Patience Jonathan in Calabar Stadium in 2015 says " all of you shouting change change, by the time APC is done with you, even changi wey remain for una pocket no go fit buy anything" , I never knew she prophetically telling us what await us
Abeg which state dey sell diesel 1150 bcs for Lagos here na 1300

The initiative would help Nigerians save two-thirds on transportation costs and promote the use of CNG as an alternative to petrol.

God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬.

Too much talk and no action. Have they thought about the probable problems of driving in a mobile bomb because that is what those buses and cars will be? will every Kazeem be allowed to make the conversion? What about the storage material the tank will be made of? It has to be a material that is high-impact resistant because of the accidents and probable explosions that would follow. A lot of things they haven't thought through.

Useless government. LNG is far better than CNG and we already have a distribution network for it.

LNG is heavier and will take lesser space than CNG. It is 3 times 1 of CNG. It also means the 230 Naira means 690/kg when compared to LNG.

Let there be gas pipelines built to all states of the federation from the source. This will eliminate the need for inter-state state transportation of gas on trucks. Pipelines can even be further channelled to cities and towns.

It will cost nothing much to have this system built for our natural gas. After all, we were building pipelines to feed Europe gas.

So they are not producing more CNG, rather they are creating more channels to mop up the available ones with their buses. I can see why they couldn't fix currency value, these people (government) are sincerly stupid.

Scarcity is the reason why prices go up, the corruptions called politicians don't seem to get it because somehow amid the scarcity, they live in abundance. Everything goes to them anyway.

The #160M Suvs is a proof they own everything in the country and lavish it at will while the masses find it very difficult to get daily bread.

11,500 gas-powered buses across the country from next week
He added that the Federal Government plans to have one million CNG vehicles on Nigerian roads by 2027.
Micheal Oluwagbemi, said the government intends to establish 1000 conversion workshops across the country
make 55,000 conversion kits immediately available
“The palliative programme as described by the president will last until March 31, 2024. So, technically speaking, we are expected to roll out 55,000 within that time frame.
We only have seven functional workshops in the country.
we will have to do is to double what they have in 14 days and from there we can start doubling after 14 days

Even a primary school pupil can see that there's no serious plan being executed here. It is just all talk. How does all the above statistics make sense in Nigeria's current state?
It shows how disconnected and insincere this govt and its handlers are.

Ok, but how does 230 per kg compare to 680 per liter?

Does it burn faster, slower or at the same rate?
