Just to put records right, this particular cattle market is owned and operated by Fulani Herdsmen and not Igbos or IPOB. So we should direct our condemnation to the right quarters. 2 Likes |

UdyOgwoUde: The governor himself said he will rebuild the market and introduce other businesses to mix in with the cattle business owners. The other businesses he is talking about are Ibos. Before demolition only hausas and fulani occupied the market. What will happen next is Ibo will refuse to follow fulani leadership of the market union and set up its own parallel union leadership. Ibos do not tolerate ethnically occupied areas on their land, but they want to go other places, set up market and dominate areas. Indeed Northerners were justified in raising complaints. They are watching to see if Otti would end up bringing Ibo into the market traditionally owned by fulanis. 3 Likes 1 Share |
