Any food rich in protein and fiber I embrace with open arms?

Abeg where can I find it?

The only problem I may encounter is my wife.
She will assume I no longer want to be buying rice anymore

Rice itself is a substitute for yam and other traditional carbs. So, if we're looking for a substitute for a substitute, what happens when things get worse? We look for a substitute of the substitute of a substitute?

This makes sense rather than be pouring money into rice, a product the country lacks comparative advantage in.

I don't agree.

So, if we're looking for a substitute for a substitute, what happens when things get worse? We look for a substitute of the substitute of a substitute?

We'll keep doing what we have to do to survive.

I like this fonio for it's protein and fiber composition. Maybe a replacement for oatmeal.
E go belleful hungry man like me be that. Will give it a try very soon.

I think I'd read somewhere that UN and UNESCO etc favour it in their humanitarian programmes because it is high in fibre and is vital to quick intervention when faced with kids suffering from malnutrition.

Ways it can be cooked.

So, what do you think people?
Can you replace this with rice for the mean time? cheesy
Would you be willing to give it a try? I sure would.
No, we can't. Because they can't get the sand out of it. I don't know what's wrong with our people. If it's oyinbo now, they will find a way to process it without sand, but not here. They will package it full of san-san, seal it and start selling.

I'm rambling. I know.
