Former Senator representing Enugu-North Senatorial District of Enugu State, Senator Chukwuka Utazi, has resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The Senator, who represented the district between 2015 and 2023, submitted his resignation letter to the Chairman of PDP in Nkpologu Ward of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the state, Chief Robert Ezeagu, said the ideals that attracted him to the party have receded into oblivion.

Nigerian politics is a big big joker, sometimes I just imagine what does the senators and house of representatives members do, some of them hardly visit their constituencies neither do they interact with locals, this system of leadership was copies from the Americans and if you take a look at theirs, senators representing constituencies can be engaged with talks and someone can even sponsor a bill through them, but in Nigeria it's how to share money and cars.
