you can get the cells and assembly yourself, but better you get an active balancer with it to support the bms, I also think you are better off going for a 24v setup and they have a wider voltage range

I met someone who savages li-ion cells from laptop battery packs. He said he can build a battery bank for me, #450/cell, BMS 10k/one for 12v battery and he uses soldering iron to assemble.

Do you think I should get the cells and assemble myself?

I don't have much tools for assembling though.

By "Balanced Version", it means your BMS has a "BALANCER" integrated which could be a passive balancer.

All I point at is "Get an ACTIVE BALANCER" BMS integrated or standalone.

I understand bro. Those things are stupidly expensive these days. Your battery would be fine with the "Balanced version" BMS.

Ok but bad for:
Smart tv, regular fans, fluorescent bulbs etc
Good for rechargeable fans, regular tv , charging etc.

Psw no be beans ooo e don cos
Msw is still cheap.

At what volts? Then state if it's standalone or grid connected, it'll make things much easier for prospective respondents.

Since 12v inverters works btw 10 to 16v , you wont fully utilize it. Note to that ur inverter wont recognize ur battery at 16.v. Ultimately, how will u charge the battery to 16.8v - fully charged? Your ups cannot do these.

most inverters will go into over voltage protection if fed any voltage higher than 15.5v, the souer inverter at 3s config is your best bet if going for msw

Your best option is a locally built DSP inverter that can be programed to work perfectly with your 4S. No market brand 12v inverter would do.
