It's a shame that Osogbo, Akure, Abeokuta etc don't consider themselves good enough for monorail

Enugu doesn't need any monorail because the state doesn't have the financial muscle to fund it. The state governor wants to launch Enugu airplane because Akwa Ibom has one. These are capital projects that the state doesn't have the financial muscle to fund, and they certainly shouldn't be the state's priority.

Enugu needs to expand its urban areas beyond the state capital. Build modern estates in Emene and Abakpa Nike. Invest in the Centenary City project. Return to Nsukka and build modern housing estates in that part of the state.

Also, build industries through PPP to create jobs, fix traffic lights in the state, power rural communities, give them water and fix their roads, invest in ICT and organise free training for young people, empower young people with grants and long-term loans, build more ultramodern primary and secondary schools in Enugu urban and rural communities, and build a flyover at Chris Chemist.

However, I like that he is taking steps to tackle the issue of water in the state. That Centenary City project should be made up blocks of multistorey buildings, not just bungalows, flats and duplexes. Stop wasting lands in the East. Start planning for the future generation.

How far with the plan ? Over 13 yrs now when the Pandora fraud called Obi signed the Monorail agreement at Onitsha, not a single bag of cement is feasible at the place.
